Actor Anna Faris is known for projects like Mom and Scary Movie. In 2008, she expanded her filmography even further by starring in the cult-classic The House Bunny. But the film would involve a raunchy scene that Faris confided wasn’t supposed to go the way that it did.

The House Bunny was originally Faris’ brainchild. She starred in the movie as playboy bunny Shelley Darlington who had to leave Hugh Hefner’s mansion and operate independently in the real world. Faris came up with the idea on a whim, after a question popped into her head.

Just a few weeks into 2019, the first big celebrity engagement news of the new year broke: actor Chris Pratt revealed he had proposed to girlfriend Katherine Schwarzenegger, the author and daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger. The couple had been dating for less than a year when they made their big announcement, and aside from a few photos snapped of them together, they'd pretty much kept their relationship details private.
In June 2019, Pratt and Katherine tied the knot. A year later, in August 2020, the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Lyla, who was later joined by her sister Eloise, who arrived in May 2022. Lyla and Eloise are siblings to Pratt's son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris. Since Pratt and Katherine will be celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary this year, there's one detail that has had many wondering from day one: How exactly did this couple meet in the first place?...

Katherine Schwarzenegger is standing by her husband Chris Pratt’s side.
Over the years Pratt has been the subject to controversy, especially when he praised his wife in November 2021 for giving birth to their “healthy” daughter Layla, now two, which critics immediately dubbed a “dig” at his ex-wife Anna Faris, referring to how she gave birth to their shared son two months early. Jack, now 10, was born premature, weighing three pounds 12 ounces and spent one month in the Nicu. From suffering cerebral hemorrhage (severe brain bleeding) to undergoing eye surgeries, Jack still faces health issues with his vision and leg muscles.

From “House Bunny” and “Hot Chick,” to “Just Friends” and the “Scary Movie” franchise, it seems that just about every project Anna Faris touches becomes a cult classic. And she’s very thankful for it – but it wasn’t always that way.
Speaking to “UnWrapped” hosts Emily Vogel and Andi Ortiz, Faris admitted that, while she always recognized how lucky she was to have landed the “Scary Movie” franchise on her first audition, there was some resentment of what it did for her career after the fact.
“I went through a whole lot of internal agitation with being associated with comedy, solely,” she said. “Like, I did not feel like comedy was ever my strong suit. And it felt confusing. And I felt resentful to — like, after a while, it felt like, ‘Why can’t I get that audition?’ You know, ‘Why can’t I at least audition for whatever...

Anna Faris hasn’t been in the spotlight much over the past few years, but now that she has had time to reflect and relax outside of the business, she feels she is ready to be active once again, even getting some new characters out there.
In a recent interview with People, Anna Faris said, “I kind of took my foot off the gas and I spent a lot of time with my son. It felt really good…It wasn’t conscious, but sort of a sabbatical, I guess…It felt great.” During her apparently much-needed time off, Faris couldn’t help but still have some ideas gestate in her head. “And now, what also feels great is that all of the projects and the characters that I’ve been sort of subconsciously kicking around, feel like they’re slowly kind of starting to sprout…And I feel really proactive,...

‘The Estate’ Review: Toni Collette And Anna Faris Scheme In Outrageously Tasteless (But Funny) Farce
You may hate yourself in the morning, but if you are in the mood for a completely un-pc, morbidly amusing farce about the need for greed, the new comedy The Estate may be right up your alley.
Quite frankly if you know the work of its writer/director Dean Craig, the British filmmaker best known for both English and American remake versions of the over-the-top farce Death At A Funeral, as well as his directing debut Love Wedding Repeat, you will know what you are in for. Subtle comic wit and three dimensional human beings are not his specialty. Neither is restraint. The Estate, shot in New Orleans, will not disappoint, and in fact his penchant for completely politically incorrect situations and comedy is – so sue me – something of a tonic in the increasingly woke obsessed world in which we find ourselves. It has, as the ad line for the...

Anna Faris has shared her thoughts on ex-husband Chris Pratt and his marriage to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
Scary Movie and Mom star Faris was married to the Guardians of the Galaxy actor from 2009 to 2018, with the pair announcing they had split in a joint statement released in August 2017.
Faris, 45, has been candid about her relationship breakdown in the past, and once suggested that she went through with the marriage because “everyone [was] expecting it”. She added that she “ignored” the warning signs ahead of their wedding.
Now, in a new interview, she has said that she is “getting closer” to Pratt, 43, and is “happy” with the way things have turned out.
“We’re all getting much closer, and I so appreciate that,” Faris told People. “They’re very protective of me, and I want to be very protective of them. I so appreciate their support.”
She continued: “It feels just much easier now that time has passed.

The sweet animated opening credits sequence of Dean Craig’s “The Estate” introduces two nice sisters who run a café. It’s a classic misdirect: a warm overview of sweet, caring Macey and sharp, smart Savanna under the guidance of their father, running a neighborhood joint replete with hot coffee and cozy regulars. Once the credits fade to real life, as it were, we learn that the sisters are in over their head and way behind on their payments, with no feasible financial solution in sight.
The Macey and Savanna of the cartoon prologue do not resemble the Macey and Savanna of “The Estate.” Macey (Toni Collette) is vaguely empathetic but weak-willed. Savanna (Anna Faris) is impulsive and possibly a sociopath. In order to save their precious café, one the audience never actually sees them working in, they’re going to have to butter up their dying, miserable Aunt Hildy...

We all make mistakes, even Toni Collette. Fans of the fearless and versatile Australian actress can take solace that she isn’t alone on this one; a whole host of beloved talented people cast their lot with the same sinking ship that is the cringe comedy “The Estate.” in her final days. The most consistent comedic thread in “The Estate” involves a pushily flirtatious cousin, and it’s not nearly as fun as “House of the Dragon” made it look.
In an odd couple pairing, Collette and Anna Faris play sisters Macey and Savanna, who are struggling to keep their family business afloat. When they learn that their wealthy and childless Aunt Hilda (Kathleen Turner) has taken a turn for the worse, scheming Savanna suggests they ingratiate themselves to her in the hopes of securing their inheritance. If, as the old actor’s maxim goes, dying is easy while comedy is hard, comedy about dying is the most high-wire act of all. Get the balance right and it’s intensely, savagely funny; when it doesn’t land, it’s a bit icky for all concerned. In 2007, British screenwriter Dean Craig mostly pulled off the trick with the self-explanatorily titled “Death at a Funeral,” which was broad and crass but frequently very funny indeed — sufficiently so for Craig to pen an inferior U.S. remake three years later. Now directing as well as writing, he attempts a similar coup with frantic coffin-chasing farce “The Estate,” getting ahead of the game by setting it in the States to begin with. This time, the results fall largely flat.
On the face of it, it’s hard to see why. The premise — hard-up chancers attempt to scrap and claw their way...

Jacob Batalon had come a long way since his breakout role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Though his career kicked into gear as Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) guy in the chair, the trilogy has officially wrapped and for better or worse, the future of the McU's Spidey remains somewhat of a mystery. For Batalon, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Though the finality would be bittersweet, saying goodbye to the saga that launched his career gives him room to grow — which means more time for projects like his new SyFy series, "Reginald The Vampire." But moving forward does't mean forgetting where it all began.
Batalon recently reminisced about his "Spider-Man" days during a chat with Anna Faris, as part of her ongoing podcast series "Anna Faris Is Unqualified." In case you're not familiar, the actress' advice podcast happens in two parts: she interviews her weekly celebrity guest and poses questions based on hypothetical relationship scenarios,...

It's hard not to love "Little Miss Sunshine." Sure, some aspects might not have aged as well as others, but you can't deny the earnestness and genuine love felt throughout every second of the movie. Made right in the middle of indie filmmaking's mumblecore movement, it seems like a time capsule of a very special time in American film, where you didn't necessarily need a big star producer or director to make your movie; just a good story.
However, it definitely took a while for the movie as we know it to take shape. According to the introduction of the published shooting script, screenwriter Michael Arndt started the first draft of the script all the way back in 2000, finally completing it in 2001. After he abandoned the idea of shooting it himself on a microbudget, he teamed up with Deep River Productions to find a director that would work for the project.

The acclaimed cast of "Little Miss Sunshine" all took their roles very seriously, but some may have taken things a little too far. There's a long history of actors dedicating themselves completely to their roles without incident, with only a few notable cases where a performer stepped over the line and put themselves and others in harm's way. Directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris never could have anticipated that Greg Kinnear would take things quite so far and put his castmates at risk.
Kinnear stars in the hit dramedy as Richard, the father of a dysfunctional family that includes his brooding step-son Dwayne, played by Paul Dano, his father Edwin, played by Alan Arkin, his wife Sheryl, played by Toni Collette, and his tenacious daughter Olive, played by Abigail Breslin in her breakout role. The family packs into a van to transport Olive across the country to a national beauty pageant.

Chris Pratt showed off his abs in a new shirtless photo shared on July 18, but his sculpted physique wasn't what grabbed the attention of fans. Instead, a note placed next to the mirror that reads "See ya at 8:00ish" with a heart drawn next to the name "Jack" had the comment section swooning.
The note was presumably written by Pratt's 9-year-old son, Jack, who was born to the actor and Anna Faris in 2012. Faris and Pratt divorced in 2018, and Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger a year later. He and Schwarzenegger have two daughters, Lyla and Eloise. Pratt announced the birth of his youngest daughter on May 22 on Instagram. "We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt," he wrote. "Mama and baby are doing well. We feel beyond blessed and grateful.
