Raymond Lindon was born on December 26, 1901 in Paris, France. He was a writer, known for Drame à un personnage (1965). He died on January 25, 1992 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
Son of jeweler and art collector Alfred Lindon (1867- 1948) and nephew of industrialist André Citroën, he is the father of Jérôme Lindon and the grandfather of Vincent Lindon.
Lawyer, public prosecutor and author, he was mayor of Étretat .
