William Brent Bell has the distinction of having directed two different tales of tiny terrors. There are his two entries in "The Boy" franchise, about a creepy little doll (and his adult human counterpart) Brahms. And now Bell is back with "Orphan: First Kill," a prequel to the 2009 horror film about Esther, a homicidal adult woman who has hypopituitarism — which causes proportional dwarfism and makes Esther look like a child.
I recently spoke to Bell about "Orphan: First Kill" (look for the full interview later this week), and I figured I had to seize that opportunity and ask the director a very, very important question: who would win in a fight — Esther or Brahms?
'Brahms Is More Of A Victim'
To Bell's credit, he didn't immediately hang up the phone on me when I asked the question. More than that: he actually put real thought into the matter. First, he...

AMC put out a video called “Inside The Walking Dead: First Day of Shooting Season 2″. I think you can guess the contents of the video from that title. We get see all of The Walking Dead main cast (Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Lauren Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Steven Yeun, and Chandler Riggs) milling around, as well as a view of some of the recurring cast, specifically my personal favorite Norman Reedus. The cast and crew all look happy to be together again, despite the heat they complain about. There’s some goofing around and general sense of excitement to be back with a 13 episode second season.
Nothing spoilery is seen, at least nothing incredibly obvious. I noticed that IronE Singleton, the actor who plays T-Dog, was covered in blood. Possibly the aftermath of a zombie attack? I’m leaning towards yes, since a few of the actors are seen hiding under cars.

Jim Played by RothenbergThere is already a sneak peek clip available for "The Walking Dead" Episode 4. The next zombie filled episode is called "Vatos" and the term vato is a slang term for brother, or a bond between men. There is not an equivalent term for women, but in this extended clip for Episode 4 Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) makes her presence know. Lori is scared of character Jim, who is seen left (Andrew Rothenberg). Jim's new, strange pastime is digging graves for non-dead people, or for people who are dead, but not there. Have a look at the 3 minute clip below and prepare for the next episode November 21st.
The synopsis for Episode 4:
"Rick's mission to Atlanta is in danger when things go awry. Back at camp, Jim becomes unhinged."
Release Date: November 21st (Television).
Director: Johan Renck.
Writers: Frank Darabont, Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.
