Looking for a romantic comedy with pirates, grenades, and pineapple-themed centerpieces? If so, then "Shotgun Wedding," starring Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel, will be right up your alley. The film starts with a destination wedding in the Philippines full of the usual pre-martial shenanigans, but takes a turn when pirates show up looking to hold people for ransom.
The film is clearly a mashup, something that attracted director Jason Moore ("Pitch Perfect") to the project. "Finding that balance and finding that tone felt like a fun challenge," he told me in an interview leading up to the movie's premiere on Prime Video.
Moore's fun challenge had him strapped into zipline towers and figuring out elaborate action sequences, two things you don't typically find in rom-com fare. I talked with him about those challenges, working with actors like Jennifer Coolidge and Cheech Marin, and how his Broadway experience prepared him for making this movie.

Stunt coordinator Lee Morrison is no stranger to working with Daniel Craig’s James Bond — not only has he worked with the actor on all five outings as the spy, he previously he was his stunt double as well.
For “No Time to Die” in theaters, Morrison didn’t just work closely with Craig, he also collaborated with director Cary Fukunaga about working action into the film while keeping story at its center. One key sequence sees Bond riding a motorcycle in a small Italian town, jumping onto the cobbled stone streets as he tries to get back to Léa Seydoux’s Madeleine at the hotel.
Here Morrison talks about the stunt work in the film and his relationship with Craig.
What discussions did you have with both Daniel and Cary about the bike sequence?
We went back and forth trying to design that sequence and get all the story points in too.

It will have been five years between Bonds, a seemingly unconscionable amount of time but if we can wait five years for a Godzilla movie, this one is certainly worth it as well.

007 star Daniel Craig, director Cary Fukunaga and the Bond 25 crew were out and about in the sunshine shooting across a number of central London locations, including Whitehall, where Daniel filmed a scene with a classic Aston Martin V8, first seen in a Bond film in 1987’s The Living Daylights.

Two legendary British groups have teamed up with one of Europe's up-and-coming multi-channel networks. Rock band Queen and sketch comedy troupe Monty Python have both partnered with Believe Entertainment, which specializes in rights management. Believe Entertainment is best know for working with musical clients, though it also provides management on YouTube and other online video channels. In Queen and Monty Python, it has found two groups whose works have been viewed tens of millions of times online. Believe will attempt to funnel those views through its clients' official channels, a process that Monty Python's YouTube page mocks. "For 7 years you YouTubers have been ripping us off, taking tens of thousands of our videos and putting them on YouTube," it says. "Now the tables are turned. It's time for us to take matters into our own hands." “As with our audio distribution, Believe wants to work with the biggest and best...
