Michel Coquette is a sound engineer who started his career in 1982 recording voices and music at the radio department of the Belgian Radio and Television. He switched to post-production in 1987.
He mixed student shorts and animation shorts.
In 2011 he assisted Walter Murch, Daniel Deshays and Larry Sider on a 9 days course "Sound In Film" in Gent.
He attended the two last editions of the School Of Sound Seminars in London (2011, 2013).
From 1989 on he was using hard disk editing/recording, working on the first non-linear audio system in Belgium.
