There is much to recommend in Air, director Ben Affleck’s new movie about Nike going out on a limb to sign Michael Jordan to a sneaker contract. The acting is, across the board, top-notch. Viola Davis, the finest working actor in America, turns in another heater as Jordan’s shrewd, iron-fisted mother, Deloris.
