Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday that Courtney D. Armstrong has been named chief operating officer for the studio. He will continue to report to Brian Robbins, Paramount Pictures’ president and CEO.
In his new role, Armstrong will oversee all day-to-day operations across business affairs, legal and business development for the studio’s live action, animation and studio group divisions. Previously, Armstrong served as the studio’s president of business affairs and administration, overseeing all business and legal affairs for the studio’s live action and animation production divisions, as well as leading the studio’s business development team.
