Samuel Kwame Boadu, born on the 25th of March, 1989, to Paa Kwasi Boadu and Abigail Botwey, is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and digital marketer. He is currently the founder of SamBoad Business Group Limited, a company located in the capital city of Ghana, Accra, that specializes in digital marketing, PR services, and business solutions.
Samuel Kwame Boadu grew up in an entrepreneurial household in Accra, Ghana, alongside three brothers: Kwaku Ohene Boadu, Nana Darkwa Boadu, and Jamil Yaw Boadu. Raised in a household that embraced both Muslim and Christian beliefs, his father initially embraced Islam due to his best friend but later returned to Christianity after his friend's passing. Samuel Kwame Boadu's mother, on the other hand, was a devoted and disciplined Christian who attended Pentecostal services.
Samuel's father, Mr. Paa Kwasi Boadu, worked as a professional driver who managed his own vehicle while also driving for various companies. His mother, Akosua Twumwaa Botwey, was a petty trader who traveled across African countries to buy clothes and shoes for resale in Makola, Accra. Both parents maintained entrepreneurial pursuits while also working for others.
Spending much of his childhood with his mother due to his father's frequent absence from the city, Samuel Kwame Boadu developed a keen interest in the business world. He once reminisced, "I can remember when I was in Junior High school, I would buy extra pens and keep them in my bag in case someone needed a pen; then, I would sell it to my colleagues."
Between the ages of 21 and 25, Samuel Kwame Boadu attended Zenith University College, where he studied Human Resource Management under the Association of Business Executives (ABE) program from the UK. During his university years, he engaged in entrepreneurial activities, selling scratch cards and phones to his fellow students. He also provided laptop repair services for a fee and assisted with phone upgrades, earning him the moniker "Millionaires Consultant" among his peers.
After completing his college education and fulfilling his national service in 2014, Samuel Kwame Boadu convinced his father to allocate a portion of their property to construct an office space. This move helped him avoid rental costs and fostered trust with his clients. He used the funds saved from his National Service Scheme at the Drivers and Vehicle Authority (DVLA) in Koforidua to initiate services such as mobile money, printing, secretarial services, travel consulting, and educational consulting under the name "SamBoad Ventures." The venture thrived, enabling him to expand into areas such as micro-credit services, express services, media consulting (now known as Blvck Tick Media), and the SamBoad Foundation.
Years of dedicated work paid off when Samuel Kwame Boadu's media consulting department secured contracts with Priority Insurance Company Limited, Coco Vanilla Restaurant, The Luxe Lounge & Garden, The Honeysuckle Restaurant, and other small businesses. In 2020, he elevated the company's operations, transforming SamBoad Ventures into SamBoad Business Group Limited, a limited liability company. In this transition, his brother acquired a 10% share while Samuel held the remaining 90%, consolidating all services with the vision of building a future conglomerate.
Each of the business divisions was subsequently organized into separate departments, functioning under the umbrella of SamBoad Business Group LLC but with distinct teams: SamBoad Express, SamBoad Micro-credit Services, Blvck Tick Media (formerly SamBoad Media Consult), JamBoad, and SamBoad Travel & Educational Consult.
Samuel Kwame Boadu consistently reinvested the majority of his profits into his enterprises, a strategy that fueled the remarkable growth of his company since its inception. During an interview on TVXYZ, he elucidated, "Unlike others who stash their money in banks, SamBoad Business Group Limited invests fully in its operations and expands across different sectors, while also generating employment opportunities. I prioritize business growth and job creation over indulgent personal luxuries."
Diverging from the paths of many affluent Ghanaians who amassed wealth from oil, real estate, and other sectors, Samuel Kwame Boadu initially pursued a distinctive route, subsequently delving into service provision, media, and logistics. He's currently working on a substantial transport business in Ghana, projected to expand in 2025. If successful, this venture could foster more job opportunities, generate income for employees, and potentially elevate SamBoad Business Group Limited's net worth to $5-10 million by 2030 with increased investor involvement.
Samuel Kwame Boadu's journey to affluence narrates a tale of moving from rags to imminent riches. Emerging from a financially challenged family that couldn't provide the required startup capital, he progressively diversified into new business sectors, including digital marketing, PR, service provision, transportation, education, traveling, logistics, and media. Today, his company, SamBoad Business Group Limited, stands as one of Ghana's most renowned and enduring brands. His title as "SamBoad" or "Millionaires Consultant" appears destined to endure for years to come.
