Not only that, One Piece has also got its first One Piece cafe in America, and that too is located in Las Vegas. Along with that, the collaboration of One Piece with the Sphere will also mark the launch of One Piece’s first English YouTube channel, which will offer fans from all over the world an easy and comfortable understanding of the franchise.
However, fans of Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball might not be happy with One Piece getting world recognition on a whole new level.

Albums from 1974 are turning 50 this year, and that includes the Grateful Dead’s From the Mars Hotel. To celebrate, Rhino is reissuing the record, out June 21.
Originally released on June 27, 1974 — just a few short months after the band debuted their massive Wall of Sound at their live shows — From the Mars Hotel contains now-classics like “U.S. Blues,” “Scarlet Begonias,” and “Ship of Fools.”
Helmed by the Dead’s legendary archivist David Lemieux, the 3-cd From the Mars Hotel (50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) will feature all eight tracks, as well...

U2 closed out the final night of their Las Vegas Sphere residency by playing the War deep cut “40” for the first time since 2016. The 1983 tune closed out countless U2 shows throughout the Eighties, and it happened to be U2’s 40th show at the Sphere since they opened up the $2 billion venue in September 2023.
Astute fans knew “40” was coming when bassist Adam Clayton and guitarist The Edge swapped instruments, which was a ritual in the group’s early days. “It’s been 40 days and 40 nights in the desert,...

Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the hottest and most highly anticipated projects from the streaming giant this year. Based on the Nickelodeon animated fantasy series of the same name, the Netflix adaptation brings the world of Aang and his friends to live-action in a bid to appeal to fans new and old.
A still from Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024)
However, as the series is an adaptation of a beloved source material fans remained skeptical of the final product. Netflix recently dropped a new promo for the series before its world premiere that depicts Aang occupying the Las Vegas Sphere in an interesting marketing move from the streamer. Despite the solid promo, fans remain unconvinced with the live-action series, and here is what they are saying on social media.

The Msg Sphere in Las Vegas is getting a makeover for Netflix‘s release of Zack Snyder’s new sci-fi epic Rebel Moon. The massive dome, equipped with 1.2 million LED lights, is consistently making headlines thanks to several clever promos taking advantage of the display’s visibility in America’s Adult Disneyland. Snyder’s films are always an event for his dedicated fanbase, and Netflix is sparing no expense to promote the filmmaker’s Star Wars-like franchise starter.
The Rebel Moon Msg Sphere display features Jimmy, a character from Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire, voiced by Anthony Hopkins and played by Dustin Ceithamer. Jc-1435, known more simply as Jimmy, was a sentient machine that, centuries ago, defended a since-slain king as part of the Mechanics Miltarium. As the promo plays across the gargantuan structure, Jimmy surveys the Divorce Capitol of the World before reaching out to crowds with his mechanical hand.

Exclusive: An exposé about institutionalized corruption in the Hare Krishna movement is being adapted into a feature doc by Sphere Media.
Sphere has acquired rights to non-fiction book Monkey on a Stick: Murder, Madness, which was a New York Times bestseller from 1988 that investigative journalists John Huber and Lindsey Gruson co-authored.
The adaptation will be for Canada’s Hollywood Suite for English-speaking Canada and directed by Jason Lapeyre. The book is billed as a “chilling exposé of institutionalised corruption.”
Telefilm Canada’s Theatrical Documentary Program has invested in the film, with assistance coming from the Roger’s Documentary Fund. UK-based Abacus Media Rights has distribution rights outside of Canada, with Hollywood Suite commissioning it for English-speaking Canada and a French-speaking Canadian deal very close to closing.

If they really do make a “Twister” sequel, they have to make it for The Sphere.
You’ve likely heard about The Sphere from the surprising number of U2 fans in your social media feeds last week, all of whom seemed to attend the band’s concerts that kicked off its Vegas residency and all of whom captured absolutely bonkers video of Vegas’ latest stab at advancing the use of light and electricity to defeat the natural world.
In keeping with Vegas’ unrivaled skill at mixing the high and the low, this next weekend it was filmmaking auteur Darren Aronofsky’s turn, with his 50-minute film “Postcard from Earth,” in which narrators explain to two floating space travelers why they were put into a years-long slumber. The story is purposefully slight; it’s a peg upon which to hang some of the most ravishing images in cinema, including a sequence...

U2 premiered a new, Las Vegas-inspired song titled “Atomic City” during a surprise pop-up concert/music video shoot Saturday on Sin City’s Fremont Street.
Taking the stage two weeks before the band opens their U2 Uv: Achtung Baby residency at the massive Msg Sphere, Bono and company performed the track a couple times during the show, which doubled as a music video shoot for the video’s rumored release later this month.

Last April, Sphere Media took the Canadian Screen Awards by storm with 22 awards for its scripted content, including a record 12 wins for the historical Black drama “The Porter” and seven for queer comedy “Sort Of.” It was a big night for Canada’s third-largest independent producer, and in particular for Jennifer Kawaja, Sphere’s president of scripted and feature films for English Canada.
Previously, Kawaja spent decades heading up Sienna Films with her business partner, Julia Sereny, helming several award-winning projects like “Cardinal,” “Trickster” and “One Dead Indian.” The duo sold the company to Kew Media Group in 2017 and in 2020, Montreal-based Datsit Sphere snatched it up when Kew was placed into receivership. Last year, Sphere restructured and rebranded under a single banner with the intention of streamlining content creation, production and distribution.
Now, it’s full speed ahead.
