Exclusive: The award-winning production company and creative studio Riverside Entertainment has appointed Cynthia Graner as Head of Production and Brendon Nelson as Managing Director, as part of its continued expansion into scripted, unscripted and commercial content.
In her new role, Graner will be responsible for management and oversight of Riverside’s physical production across all business lines. As Managing Director, Nelson will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s business strategy, with particular focus on client engagement, personnel retention and recruitment, vendor relations and best practices across all business lines.

Red Sea Media has kicked off talks with international buyers here on Trafficked starring Ashley Judd [pictured], Elisabeth Röhm, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Anne Archer.
The film chronicles the fate of three girls from the Us, Nigeria and India who attempt to escape a Texas brothel. Will Wallace directs from the screenplay by Siddharth Kara, and Conroy Kanter, Kara and Vicente Aldape served as producers. Frank Mayor is executive producer.
“Trafficked is a character-driven thriller, which will move its audiences and bring awareness to the campaign to stop human trafficking and help its victims,” Conroy said.

ROME -- Film producers Conroy Kanter and Ecky Malick on Friday announced the creation of I Am Third Prods., with plans to make the company's first film based on the best-selling apocalyptic novel "Father Elijah" by Canadian author Michael O'Brien.
The book tells the story of a Jewish Holocaust survivor turned Carmelite monk on a secret Vatican mission to confront the Antichrist, with the future of the church hanging in the balance.
Director Terrence Malick -- Ecky Malick's husband -- will serve as a special adviser to the company, which will be based in Los Angeles.
Kanter and both Terrence and Ecky Malick will be in Italy next week for the RomaCinemaFest, where Terrence Malick will participate in a special open discussion about film as part of the festival's Extra sidebar.
