Joseph J. 'Joe' Arnold was born January 18, 1925. He graduated from Moorestown High School and the University of Notre Dame. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945 as a belly gunner in the 19th Bomber Squadron.
Joe produced sports films featured on NBC's Wide World of Sports while employed by Tel-Ra Productions of Philadelphia before established Arnold Pictures in Riverton, N.J. There he produced his short subject "Worth Running For" that was nominated for an Academy Award in documentary subjects and opened in Radio City Music Hall.
After a two-year battle with lung cancer, Joe passed away peacefully at Enso House hospice in Freeland on March 31, 2005.
