Léa is a creative designer and costumer with 15 years professional experience in fashion design, costume & styling in London, Amsterdam and Berlin. She from Central Saint Martins Fashion BA & The Royal College of Art in Fashion Womenswear & Knitwear. She has worked as a senior designer for global fashion brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Pringle of Scotland and Paper London. She then moved into costume design and consultancy and has been able to pursue work in film and theatre costume as well as maintaining work in fashion. Léa is happy working in these versatile environments and loves the challenges that come up on set and in costume departments. Many years of working with fabrics and clothing has afforded her an excellent eye and taste level for fabrics, shapes, textures and colour. This sensibility and expertise is applied to her work in costume. Léa's design and production background has given her a great network of makers, fabric suppliers and factories in London and Europe which she has used in costume departments to realise designs and make duplicates of rare costume originals.
