Khan's father,
Irrfan Khan, was a renowned actor who had acted in several critically acclaimed movies like
Life of Pi (2012) and
Slumdog Millionaire (2008).
Khan completed his schooling at Tridha School in Mumbai and studied further at the University of Westminster in London. After completing his studies, he started his career in Bollywood as a camera assistant in the movie
Qarib Qarib Single (2017).
