- In 2007, he contributed artwork for the book Of Corpse, A Zombie Guide by Craig Brenizer.
- Was inspired to become a filmmaker by fellow Pennsylvania filmmaker George A. Romero and has contributed donations to the George A. Romero Foundation.
- Originally watched Night of the Living Dead (1968) when he was five years old, fueling his fascination with both the horror genre and director George A. Romero. As an adult, he searched for 15 years to find the exact VHS release his mother owned, eventually being gifted with a copy from the owner of Creature Feature Weekend.
- Owns a piece of the exterior wall of the cabin used to film Evil Dead II (1987).
- Was gifted with a bracelet of woven cord made by a member of his squad while serving in Iraq in 2006. Brandon still continues to wear it to this day in honor of those he served with.
- He has been a supporter of independent filmmakers, having made financial contributions to 3 film projects: Never Hike Alone in the Snow & Victim No More (two Friday the 13th fan films), and I Know What You Need (based on the story by Stephen King).
