Film industry veteran Peter Wobser has served in the industry for almost four decades. He created the comedy short film "Ab Inne Kiste" in 2002 before co-founding Kitsch Monkey Productions in 2005. His feature film credits include "Needle in the Hay," "Wraith," "The Wedding,'" "Audax, " "The Collaborators" and "Bastion."
Born in the American Sector of Berlin, Wobser started to work for Basis Film Production when 16, before becoming a dubbing editor with renowned German post production house, Wenzel Lüdecke/Arena Synchron, where his work included the original "Charlie's Angels," "Kojak" and "Ironside." He is a founding member of outdoor broadcast company BNC, with countless live transmissions of major sports and entertainment shows. He moved to Manchester in 1992, working as production coordinator for Counter Image and involved in countless film productions, animations, photography exhibitions and cultural exchanges with Russia, Germany and other countries. Wobser is also involved with the Manchester Kinofilm International Film Festival, serving as chair of the board of directors.
