Who Is Reddy And What Happens To Him In Aavesham? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Aavesham, the tale of a quirky gangster Ranga, had taken the theatres by storm upon its release. Now, with its Ott release, the reaction is similar. Viewers are greatly impressed by Fahadh Faasil’s portrayal of Ranga as a gangster in all his weird glory. Besides him, the group of three friends, Bibin (Mithun Jai Shankar), Aju (Hipzster), and Shanthan (Roshan Shanavas), who take help from him, are also a delight to watch on screen.
Another major character in Aavesham is Reddy (Mansoor Ali Khan), who is hugely responsible for Ranga’s growth as a gangster. He is Ranga’s mentor, and Ranga had spared his life out of his respect for him. However, does Ranga’s respect save Reddy till the end of the film? Let’s take a look.

Sameera Reddy, much like Bollywood star John Abraham, found her first break in the entertainment industry through a music video. In 1997, she starred in the music video for Pankaj Udhas’ classic ghazal ‘Aur Ahista Kijiye Baatein’. This iconic song not only marked the beginning of her career but also holds a special place in her heart. Reddy expressed her deep sorrow upon hearing the news of Pankaj Udhas’ passing, attributing her career launch to his melodious voice and unforgettable music.
In the music video, Reddy portrayed the character of an Indian woman who falls in love with an Australian man, while Pankaj Udhas serenades with his soulful voice in the background. Reddy fondly reminisced about how the song remains etched in people’s memories, shaping her journey in the industry.
Taking to Instagram, Sameera Reddy shared the music video of ‘Aur Ahista Kijiye Baatein’, paying homage to the legendary singer.

Karan Johar Gets Brutally Trolled As He Praises Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal ( Photo Credit – Instagram; IMDb )
Karan Johar was recently part of a roundtable of directors where he totally obsessed over Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal. While he established Ranbir Kapoor as the best actor in the country, he could not help but flatter Sandeep with his comments on the film.

Talking on the Galatta Plus pan-India roundtable, the filmmaker said, “I felt something is wrong with me, something is wrong with him (Vanga), but something put together is very right about this film. You can debate about it, you can debate the politics, the scenes,...

Aamir Khan is one of those rare Bollywood celebrities who will keep you intrigued while conversing, as he knows what he’s talking about. This is completely opposite to Salman Khan, not in a wrong way, but Sallu speaks his heart out without thinking much about how anyone would take him.

Actress-singer Shruti Haasan’s latest single ‘Monster Machine’ is nothing like her other musical endeavours. A hard edged, industrial rock track, the song, is an edgy and trippy celebration of the misfit attitude.
Given the actress’ fondness for rock music, the song is filled with a rebel punk style attitude something similar to hardcore punk bands such as Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits or Black Flag.
However, the music is more similar to something that came out of the popular industrial rock/metal band Nine Inch Nails, as ‘Monster Machine’ employs the use of a lot of artificial mechanical drums, synthesisers, samples while coating the heavy guitar riffs with electronic samples.
Filled with some weirdly trippy footage, on one hand it shows Shruti on the set of a film donning an eloquent lehenga, while on the other cuts to her going all punk rock mode, wearing black clothes and brandishing a hammer.

Bengaluru, Aug 26 (Ians) Accusing the Badminton Association of India (Bai) of using tactics that sought to instil fear and alarm among players, the organisers of the Grand Prix Badminton League have postponed Season 2 of the privately organised event scheduled to start on Sunday.
After the Bai had issued notices warning players against participating in unrecognised tournaments, the organisers of Gpbl took the matter to the Karnataka High Court, which stayed the Bai notice. Bai appealed in the Supreme Court, which ruled that the matter be sent back to the Karnataka Hc for hearing and a final decision as the earlier order was issued ex-parte.

National Award-winning filmmaker Sankalp Reddy shared that it was a seven-month phase of trial and error to nail the 1970s look for the upcoming spy thriller ‘Ib 71’ starring Vidyut Jammwal.
Set in 1971, the spy thriller based on real-life incidents. The film talks about how the Indian Intelligence Bureau in a secret mission, outwitted the entire enemy establishment and gave the armed forces the required advantages to win the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Describing his process of nailing the 70s look, Reddy said: “It was a sincere coordination between the production designer, art department, costume designer, and Dop. It was a 7-month phase of trial and error method.”
“We procured news articles from libraries in Delhi and Mumbai to flesh out the story. The right look for elements in a film like this is a gamble. You experiment extensively before finding something that fits just right. The colour palette was another area...

Mumbai, March 26 (Ians) An unbeaten 52 runs partnership for the last wicket between Shikha Pandey (27 not out) and Radha Yadav (27 not out) helped Delhi Capitals recover from precarious 79/9 to post a decent 131/9 in 20 overs against Mumbai Indians in the final of the Women’s Premier League (Wpl) 2023, here on Sunday.
Pandey and Yadav came together just when Delhi were struggling to cross the hundred-100 mark in the summit clash played in front of a partisan full-house at the Brabourne Stadium, and helped their team reach a target they could attempt to defend.
The Delhi Capitals batters looked in a hurry, hoping to put up a big score and did not give themselves time to settle down. Their top-order batters gifted their wickets, as three of them got out to full-tosses while skipper Meg Lanning (35) was run out after a horrendous mix-up with Jess Jonassen.

Talking about his father, late former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and creator of the Telugu Desam Party, N T Rama Rao, Balakrishna had said rather dismissively: “My father had some contemporaries, Ranga Rao (S V Ranga Rao), Akkineni, Thokkineni, and some others.”

Shruti Haasan is gearing up for two big-ticket releases this week with ‘Waltair Veerayya’ starring Chiranjeevi and ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ led by Balakrishna.
She could not, however, be a part of the ‘Waltair Veerayya’ pre-release launch. According to unit sources, Shruti could not make it to the event due to ill-health brought on by fatigue and exertion.
Shruti had a hectic 2022 and spent most of last year shooting for her various projects across industries.
According to sources close to her, Shruti hasn’t been 100 per cent fit since the Greece schedule of her International film ‘The Eye’, as it was a physically gruelling shoot and she was practically living out of a suitcase for more than four months because of back-to-back shoots.
Despite this, she ensured that she was back on sets to complete the shoot for her January releases so as to not hamper their release in any way.
