Chord Overstreet is embracing the moment with his new Netflix holiday comedy Falling for Christmas, and he’s ready to make audiences laugh again after taking some time away from the acting spotlight.
The actor, best known for playing Sam on the Fox phenomenon Glee, stars opposite Lindsay Lohan in director Janeen Damian’s film about an arrogant hotel heiress (Lohan) who suffers amnesia in a ski accident and finds herself in the care of a lodge owner, played by Overstreet, amid her struggle to recall her former life. The project has been touted as a comeback vehicle for Lohan after a long stretch away from leading roles, but it also serves to reintroduce a wider audience to Overstreet, who has been steadily recording music over the years and is part of the cast of the Apple TV+ comedy series Acapulco.

The cast of Glee has sung Madonna. They’ve sung Beyonce. They’ve sung everything from Fleetwood Mac to Katy Perry. Yet, after six seasons and hundreds of musical performances, there are still some songs they wish they could’ve recorded.
While Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Darren Criss, Dot-Marie Jones, Mark Salling, and Chord Overstreet all spent the show’s tear-filled PaleyFest farewell panel reminiscing on the past six years, they took some on the red carpet prior to dream up the performances that could’ve been.
“Every time I would hear a good song, I’d be like, ‘Oh I wish I could do this on Glee,” answered Salling. “I never got to do one I wanted either. I wanted to do a Radiohead song, but that I guess it didn’t really fit,” he said.

Nashville, Tenn (Reuters) - Acting as a celebrity coach on NBC's hit talent show "The Voice" reminds Blake Shelton of his own rise from star-struck Oklahoma teenager to country music star.
Shelton came to Nashville at age 17, idolizing Travis Tritt and Paul Overstreet and imagining Nashville's famed Music Row as an impregnable fortress of towering skyscrapers.
"I figured out what makes this industry work, what makes the world turn here in Nashville, and it's record sales. It's one thing to hear yourself on radio, it's another for people to go buy your music," the 35-year-old Shelton told Reuters
New York Times' music critic Jon Caramanica recently wrote of Shelton, "Apart from perhaps Taylor Swift, he's becoming the most important and visible ambassador from Nashville to the American mainstream."

Chord Overstreet showed off his underwear in his first ever appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday, March 21. The 22-year-old star who plays Sam Evans in popular TV series "Glee" offers to exhibit his underwear after joking that he was wearing the gold lame shorts under his jeans. Chord dropped his trousers to expose his underpants, which turns out to be a pair of the "Ellen's got my tight end covered" boxer-briefs that DeGeneres had made for the Green Bay Packers American football team.
In the beginning of the show, there was a slide show of Sam's pictures which showed him posing topless and wearing gold shorts from the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" episode. When Ellen questioned him if he was bashful about showing off his body on "Glee", the son of Paul Overstreet answered, "After the eighteenth episode, I got over it. It's in my contract".

Taylor Swift and Chord Overstreet spark dating rumor after they were pictured watching L.A. Kings game together in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 24. The country music singer sat next to the "Glee" star when watching the Kings defeating the Minnesota Wild at Staples Center.
Taylor, 21, looked relaxed and enjoying Chord's company. At 22, the Sam Evans depicter indeed seems to be more age-appropriate for the "Speak Now" hitmaker who was previously linked to much-older hunks Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer.
About a year ago, Taylor was spotted with Chord's "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith at a bowling alley. The two also had a dinner together just earlier this month. "We're just friends. I don't know where the time is to date these days," Cory spoke of the outing. "She's lovely. I think talent is attractive."
Chord, meanwhile, was rumored to date Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer Willis, but he quickly shrugged it off.

Taylor Swift and Glee's Chord Overstreet were side by side last night to see the Los Angeles Kings take on the Minnesota Wild at La's Staples Center. The duo watched as the home team defeated their hockey visitors with a final score of 4-2. Taylor and Chord have been subject to romance rumors recently, and their game time won't do much to stop those stories. Their hanging out comes shortly after Taylor apparently reunited with her ex, Jake Gyllenhaal, over dinner in Tennessee. Taylor's Nashville hometown is something she and Chord actually have in common, as he was born there to a singer-songwriter dad named Paul Overstreet. Chord was able to break from his award season partying to have fun with Taylor, but it was evidently an exhausting day anyway. He tweeted to fans just before bed to write, "Long day, time for some good ole fashion sleep." View...
