- Franz Höbling was born on September 9, 1886 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was an actor and director, known for Der hinkende Teufel (1922), The Man Who Laughs (1921) and Alle Räder stehen still (1921). He died on February 14, 1965 in Vienna, Austria.
- In 1910 he was obligated to the Vienna stages and one year later he worked for the legendary Burgtheater.
