To say I was excited for Invincible Season 2 Part 2 would be an understatement. Since its debut in 2021, Robert Kirkman and Prime Video’s dark and brutal yet consistently earnest take on the superhero genre has been by far one of its best works; a major standout in a market filled to bursting with superhero media and without a doubt the best the genre has been on television to date.
And Season 2’s first half continued and expanded on the solid foundations set by Season 1 with great character work, clever explorations of the multiverse, and the show’s trademark epic and brutal action sequences. And the cliffhanger ending with the legendary Clancy Brown as General Kreeg taking Omni-Man prisoner? Who wouldn’t immediately want to know what happens next?
I am happy to report that Season 2’s second half delivers on these promises in spades. A truly exemplary work of superhero...

Deathstroke is one of the most fearsome comic book villains with an equally riveting and emotional story arc. The character has also made several live-action appearances, mostly notably in the Arrowverse and Justice League. Deathstroke was also the main villain in the second season of DC’s Titans.
Deathstroke in a still from Titans (2018–2023)
While Deathstroke is known for being one of Teen Titans’ most revered villains, the live-action series failed to do justice to his comic arc. In the comics, Deathstroke’s hatred for the team of superheroes is much more deeply rooted and emotional but the Titans squandered the potential of what could have been a compelling storyline for television.

Reality star Savannah Chrisley has shared prison letters penned by her mother, Julie Chrisley, who has been locked up since January 2023 after being found guilty of bank and tax fraud alongside her husband, Todd Chrisley. On the latest episode of Savannah’s Unlocked podcast, the Chrisley Knows Best alum read from the letters her mother has written from prison, many of which detail her struggles of being away from her husband and their children. “I knew my life was about to change forever,” read the first letter (per People), which Julie wrote on January 17, 2023, when she and Todd first reported to prison. “My husband and I stood in our bedroom right in front of our prayer bench and said our goodbyes. This article contains spoilers for "Invincible."
The initial premise of "Invincible" is what it would be like to be Superman's son and follow in your dad's footsteps. Mark Grayson/Invincible (Steven Yeun) is the son of Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), Earth's greatest superhero and visitor from the planet Viltrum. Unfortunately, Viltrum is a fascist empire and Nolan isn't as benevolent as he appears.
"Invincible" season 1 ended with a clash between father and son. Nolan beat Mark to a pulp but flew off in grief after realizing how human he'd become. A question lingering at the season's end was when Omni-Man would return — pretty soon, it turned out.
"Invincible" season 2, episode 3, "This Missive, This Machination!" features Mark called to the alien planet Thraxa; the cliffhanger ending is him coming face to face with the planet's ruler, Nolan. Episode 4, "It's Been A While," opens with a flashback montage (scored to a...
