Reid Cameron Berman was born in Bristol, Connecticut, to Marie Elaine (Ballard), who worked as a case manager for developmentally disabled adults, and Paul Michael Bombaci-Berman, who managed pharmaceutical and medical device businesses in the US and UK. Reid spent most of his childhood discovering and developing his creative and comedic expression through impromptu character development, stop-motion animation, and back-yard sketches filmed with his closest friends and his sister Madison Marie. Moving multiple times with his father's career, Reid became fascinated and inspired by the eccentricities of the people he met along the way, helping to mold his creative perspective. He has lived in Connecticut, Indiana, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida, England, and Los Angeles, California. While in England, Reid attended TASIS The American School in England which included a period of study in Cadiz, Spain. Upon returning to America, Reid began to crystallize his pursuit of artistic expression at North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, Florida where he developed and operated video walls for the productions of "9 to 5 The Musical" and "Ghost The Musical" and he was a set tech for the performances of "Legally Blonde" and "Cabaret". During the summer of 2017, Reid attended a film study program at American University in Washington, DC where he was Editor for the short film, "Breaking and Entering" (2017) and Script Supervisor for "Art Thief" (2017). After high school, Reid attended and graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts with a BA in Visual Media Arts and a minor in Comedic Writing and Performance. Throughout college, Reid was heavily influenced by German Expressionism and the work of Tim Burton. He spent his final senior semester at Emerson Los Angeles where he interned as Boom Operator and Sound Recordist for the film "Unfix" (2023). Reid also performed with Emerson's short form improv comedy troupe Stroopwafel, wrote multiple comedy sketches, and edited and performed in several short films. After graduation, Reid assisted with production at Artifact Studios and developed social media content for Los Angeles Chef Luther Chen. Reid has worked as a free agent in comedy writing, video editing, and all aspects of production and social media content development.
