John spent the first half of his career building the world's largest
media consultancy, The Media Audits Group, in Europe. He conducted two
management buy outs of the company before selling it to the consulting
group Accenture.
He now works hard both writing and producing a slate of ten feature and television projects in London.
Some time ago, John pitched and sold the concept of 'The Manageress' to Channel 4 UK. This twelve-hour drama series was broadcast very successfully around the world. He also worked for many years to bring "Live From Abbey Road" to television screens around the globe.
John has worked on feature projects with Fox Searchlight ('The Real Life') Film Four ('The Story of the Eye") and Film Four/British Film Institute on the award winning short, 'Baby' an Official Selection of the Sundance Festival. "Unrequited Love" was an Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival in 2010.
John is a member of the Sundance Institute's Producers Program and studies, almost constantly, in the MFA Program at UCLA online. His production company, Stories in Film Ltd, was formed in 2004.
