Born on 24th October 1998, Apurv is an indie film producer, cinematographer & editor from Mumbai, India who moved to Vancouver in 2021 to further his passion for visual storytelling at Vancouver Film School. As a student at VFS for 2 years, he has been Director of Photography on about 8 student short films that include Nothing (2023), Beyond Monotony (2023), Roommates from Hell (2023), & The Midnight Cafe (2023) while other independent short films DPed by Apurv include Morpheus (2023) & The Audition (2019). Besides that, he has been Gaffer/Grip on 3 feature films and 1 TV series.
Furthermore, Apurv has been striving to build a solid network, trying new things, being an avid problem solver and enhance leadership skills as a filmmaker, he has produced 4 short films: Settling Scores (2023), The F-Bomb (2023), Original Formula (2020) & Colors of Melody (still in prep).
Formerly, he had been working in visual effects in renowned films and is credited for his work on Venom (2018), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019), Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), No Time to Die (2021), Dune (2021) and many more.
