Emily Teede

Emily Teede is a screen and stage actor based in Sydney, Australia.
Emily had a five year stint in the Aust Army, was a DisneyWorld USA cast member, an assistant to the Jamaican Olympic Team and in marketing for Big Tobacco. She gained a BA Degree in English, rounding out her early working years.
Having children redefined happiness, so Emily focused on her passion for Acting. Since then she threw herself into the learning curve and appeared in a variety of TVC's and TV Series, also several Feature Films, notably Ladies In Black (2018), I Am Woman (2019), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) and The Winner Takes It All (2023).
She's had the honour to play lead roles in two theatrical plays written by Fran Bowick; 2020's sold out "Good Grief" and 2022 Sydney Fringe's "Jimmy & Maude". Emily also got the chance to flex her comedic side in Kristelle Zibara's 2022 sold out feminist variety show "Tough Titties" and played wonderful lead characters in multiple short films.
Emily has studied screen acting with Sydney Actors Association and Dir/Prod Grant Thompson, as well as character training with CD Greg Apps. Emily placed in the Finals for the World Monologue Film Festival and represented Australia in the Global Finals for the 2021/22 and 23 World Monologue Games, as well as being in the winning People's Choice for The Very Short Film Festival '23.
Emily lives with her very supportive husband, their two rambunctious children and a Kelpie-cross dog named Ruby (Roundhouse-Killer-Of-Men).
