Perón and his wife Eva were sympathetic to the Nazi cause because
Adolf Hitler was opposed to Communism. As many as 9,000 former Nazis and collaborators - including
Dinko Sakic,
Josef Mengele, and
Adolf Eichmann - may have fled to South America, 5,000 of them settling in Argentina. The book "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Latin America" (2011) claims Perón and Eva accepted property looted from Jewish Holocaust victims as payment for granting asylum.
