- Argentinean politician, writer and army lieutenant general. Husband of Eva Perón (aka Evita; nee Eva Duarte) between 1945 and 1952. Founder of the Partido Laborista (Labour Party) which was later renamed as Partido Justicialista (Justicialist Party), also known as "Peronism". - Third wife actually fufilled the aspirations of Evita by being the wife of the President and being Vice President as well. She actually looked quite a bit like Evita too.
- Perón and his wife Eva were sympathetic to the Nazi cause because Adolf Hitler was opposed to Communism. As many as 9,000 former Nazis and collaborators - including Dinko Sakic, Josef Mengele, and Adolf Eichmann - may have fled to South America, 5,000 of them settling in Argentina. The book "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Latin America" (2011) claims Perón and Eva accepted property looted from Jewish Holocaust victims as payment for granting asylum.
