- His brother is Rob Artigo - radio personality for KGO 810 in San Francisco.
- He attended over 40 games in the San Francisco Giants 1993 season. He wore a wolf mask to ignite rallies and became known as the wolfman on KNBR 680. He lives and dies the Giants but is said to have a warm place in his heart for the Boston Red Sox.
- Attended San Francisco State Univeristy from 1993 to 1997. His major was "Speech and Communication Studies". He did not want to study film because he thought it would place his creative mind in a box.
- He spent a year at Improv Olympic in Chicago, Illinois (1998-1999).
- He worked with iD Tech Camps for over 5 years teaching kids how to design web pages, create video games and produce movies.
- The movie Better Off Dead (1985) and the works of John Hughes in the 1980s are his biggest influences.
- Credits his relationship with his brother Rob Artigo as being the earliest inspiration of being a filmmaker.
- Performs with Trevor Morgan in a weekly improv show called Slap My Improv.
