Mariana Moraes has been working in the film industry for 10 years. She is a film editor with experience cutting short and feature-length projects. Throughout her career, she has collaborated on a number of socially relevant projects that rely on the transformative power of a good story. These include Aruanas, a fictional TV series that provides global recognition for environmental activism in the Amazon rainforest, watched by 35 million people; Liberdade, a hybrid short film about the lives of African immigrants to Brazil - shown in over 30 festivals around the world- and John of God: The Crimes of a Spiritual Healer, a Netflix documentary series.
In 2024, Mariana graduated from an industry-led Masters in Editing at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in the UK.
