Although many people believe that once a show ends, the fandom it had immediately evaporates, this is often not the case. The more viewers a show has during its run, the more chances it has of attracting new people decades after its premiere. Gilmore Girls is one of the best examples of this.
One of the things that makes the show so popular is that it appeals to a wide range of ages. While some of the Og fans used to identify more with Rory, they have grown up and face the same issues as Lorelai. This also makes more viewers think about the on-screen relationships and all the possibilities the show missed out on.

It has been years since Matt Czuchry appeared on Gilmore Girls as Logan Huntzberger. Despite appearing in several other major productions, fans still think of him as Logan. He is happy to talk about his time on the beloved series in interviews. His role as Logan almost always comes up. In a recent sitdown, Czuchry discussed Rory Gilmore’s love life. While he refused to pick what “team” he is on, he was willing to point out that each of Rory’s major loves had traits that made them great and traits that many people would consider dealbreakers.

Have you ever wondered who Matt Czuchry thinks is Rory Gilmore’s best boyfriend? If you want him to pick her true love, you’re out of luck. Still, the The Resident star has a lot to say about the show that made him famous.

Matt Czuchry is weighing in on the Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) romance discourse! During the April 2 episode of The Talk, the Gilmore Girls alum was shown a TikTok video of fan hating on both Logan Huntzberger and Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia), calling them “below average” boyfriends and a possible reason why “standards have been on the floor for women for decades now.” Czuchry, always a gentleman, politely said, “We shouldn’t be searching for perfection in anything, whether it be relationships or whatever it may be.” He noted how Gilmore Girls has “spanned generations” because of its “timeless nature,” due in large part to creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Dan Palladino. “But specific to that take, I think that Logan had his strengths and weaknesses, and Jess has his strengths and weaknesses, and Dean has their strengths and weaknesses like we all do,” Czuchry elaborated. “I think the fun...

It’s official: Lauren Graham has joined Instagram. Graham, who spent seven years playing Lorelai Gilmore in Gilmore Girls, has had an illustrious career. She’s dabbled in social media a bit, too. She’s been a regular on X (formerly known as Twitter) for years, but she never bothered to sign up for Instagram. That has all changed. While fans are simply happy to see the famed actor on the platform, they can’t help but wonder if it means something for the future of Gilmore Girls. Fans have been waiting for a second revival season for almost eight years.

Gilmore Girls was mostly about the family dynamics of the Gilmore clan, as well as the quirky town of Stars Hollow and all of its eccentric residents. The show is beloved for being light, comforting, and funny. The town of Stars Hollow and its residents are considered ideal by fans. Still, there appears to be a dark underbelly, just like Paris Geller once predicted. Upon closer inspection, we were shocked to find out how many times the show’s main characters turned up on the wrong side of the law.

Taylor Swift has been headline news for years. Her relationship with Travis Kelce has garnered even more attention. For the last several months, a completely unrelated rumor about the pop star has been circling the internet, albeit at a quieter rumble than news about her new relationship. Rumors swirl that Gilmore Girls is Taylor Swift’s favorite show and that at least one of her songs was inspired by the iconic series. While we don’t doubt Swift would enjoy the antics of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, the billionaire hasn’t publicly acknowledged her love for Stars Hollow, so where exactly did the rumor begin? It all started on Instagram.

Gilmore Girls is something of a phenomenon. The series, considered a moderate success during its original run, has more staying power than most other shows. Fans rewatch the series repeatedly, largely thanks to the cozy vibes of Stars Hollow, the Connecticut hamlet where Lorelai and Rory Gilmore live. Despite its comfy atmosphere, Stars Hollow does have some secrets. In fact, several mysteries involve the tiny hamlet. We’ve collected three obscure Stars Hollow mysteries that we still haven’t solved, despite numerous rewatches

Several actors were billed as series regulars on Gilmore Girls during its seven-season run. Not every major star was a series regular, though. Fans might have noticed that the show listed a few stars as special guests despite appearing regularly on the show. Jared Padalecki, who portrayed Rory Gilmore’s love interest Dean Forrester, was credited as a guest on Gilmore Girls. The Gilmore Girls intro billed Edward Herrmann the same way. Valerie Campbell, a production team member, recently revealed exactly how Padalecki’s billing allowed him to move onto another show with ease.

In a TikTok video, Valerie Campbell, the key set costumer for Gilmore Girls, explained that the contractual obligations for a special guest are completely different from those of a series regular. Sure, the designation had some drawbacks. For example, special guests are not paid unless they are on set.

Rory Gilmore’s first boyfriend, Dean Forrester, isn’t exactly a fan favorite. At the very least, Gilmore Girls fans largely agree that he was not the one for Rory. Despite that, the couple actually dated three separate times during the show’s seven-season run. A lot happened during the breaks in their relationship. Still, their time apart was relatively short.
Rory and Dean’s first break up didn’t even last two months
Rory and Dean’s relationship was sweet to start. Fans were understandably heartbroken when they called it quits during season 1 after Rory refused to say “I love you” back. Instead of moving on quickly, Rory, refusing to wallow at first, eventually leaned into her feelings. Because several episodes were dedicated to Rory’s heartbreak, fans largely assumed the breakup lasted a while. It didn’t.

In November 2016, Gilmore Girls fans sat down to watch a four-part special that finally showed them what has been happening in Stars Hollow since the original series ended in 2007. While the Netflix revival was met with mixed reviews, most fans still want to see more. The idea of a second revival has been floated multiple times over the years, but nothing has materialized.
As it turns out, the show’s stars have thought about what might have become of their characters following the big cliffhanger, too. Scott Patterson recently revealed his preferred storyline for a second revival, and it doesn’t sound half bad.

Gilmore Girls fans appear no closer to season 2 of the Netflix revival than a year ago. Just like in years past, the actors are talking about a second revival, and Amy Sherman-Palladino is happy to entertain chatter about it.
Still, as we move further into 2024, there has yet to be an announcement. Regardless, we can’t help but wonder what a second revival would look like. While fans largely assume Rory Gilmore’s revival storyline would have included giving birth to a baby girl, that assumption might be wrong. Amy Sherman-Palladino insists there is room for boys in the Gilmore Girls universe.

The official Gilmore Girls rewatch might be a fall event for fans of the beloved series, but the show isn’t just fall-focused. Over the course of seven seasons, there were plenty of winter-themed episodes, and we think there are more than a few Gilmore Girls episodes you should absolutely watch during a cozy snow day. We’ve collected four that you should queue up the next time you are snowed in.
‘Love and War and Snow’ is the quintessential ‘Gilmore Girls’ snow episode
Lorelai Gilmore’s love of snow is established early on in the series. One of the first snow-themed Gilmore Girls episodes also happens to be one of our favorites. In the show’s eighth episode, Lorelai finds herself stranded in Stars Hollow without Rory. While Rory is stuck in Hartford, Lorelai is hardly alone.

Most of us can agree that TV shows thrive on their romantic storylines, but over the years love triangles have increasingly taken over TV’s romantic storylines and divided fans.
Iconic love triangles have become a commonly used trope to hook viewers in. There is nothing like declaring who the heroine should be with and having to stick with them through the rollercoaster of intense declarations of love and breakups. But despite how annoying and cliché love triangles can be, they lead to some of the best TV moments. So, naturally we decided to take a look at TV’s most infuriating love triangles.

There are many good things to say about TV shows from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Some of the best sitcoms aired during the period, and they did several things well. We love the holiday episodes served up during the TV era. Several shows brought amazing classic Thanksgiving episodes to viewers, many of whom were looking for an escape before, during, and after the holidays. We’ve picked out four classic Thanksgiving episodes you should watch this year.
‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ always served up solid holiday episodes
Everybody Loves Raymond was a show that was made for holiday episodes. The holidays, especially Thanksgiving, really highlighted the dysfunctional family dynamics of the Barones. While the series had many great Thanksgiving offerings, we think “No Fat” is a classic.

Jinger recently revealed that she is joining in on the yearly fall tradition of rewatching Gilmore Girls.

Former Gilmore Girls and This is Us star Milo Ventimiglia shocked the world when his team confirmed he is officially a married man. Ventimiglia, known as something of a serial monogamist due to several long-term relationships, married his love, Jarah Mariano, earlier this year. Do you know who Milo Ventimiglia dated before tying the knot? He’s had a few high-profile romances and a couple more low-key ones.
Milo Ventimiglia dated Alexis Bledel during his time on ‘Gilmore Girls’
Milo Ventimiglia’s breakout role came on Gilmore Girls in the early 2000s when he played bad boy Jess Mariano (the irony is not lost on us). His character dated Rory Gilmore during season 3 of the series, and he returned to reprise his role in Gilmore Girl: A Year in the Life. 23 years after Gilmore Girls first premiered, the show is still beloved and gaining new fans thanks to its availability on Netflix. In 2016, it even returned for a brief revival, allowing viewers to once again hop into the cozy world of Stars Hollow and see how their favorite characters have been holding up. According to the show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, however, some of the crew’s favorite storylines got cut, including one revolving around something you might not expect from the Gilmore Girls universe: K-pop.

When "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" aired in 2016, fans had so many questions. The biggest of all: Who will Rory Gilmore end up with? Fans of the original series knew she went her own way after graduating from Yale, ending her relationship with Logan as he headed to California's blossoming tech industry. While Rory doesn't need a man to fulfill herself, the promise that all the major guys from Rory's past would return for the Netflix series got fans' hopes up that perhaps she could rekindle something. The answer is complicated.
Rory does rekindle her romance with Logan, but it's far from a fairy tale: he's engaged to another woman. They have an arrangement in which she gets to crash at his swanky London pad (when his Paris-dwelling fiancé is gone) and whatever happens there, stays there. Bringing the beloved character of the caffeine-obsessed bookworm Rory Gilmore to life in the cult dramedy "Gilmore Girls," Alexis Bledel captured the hearts of legions of viewers in the early aughts. Over the years, her quick-witted, fast-talking iconic role has only gained more popularity as the show reached global audiences when it landed on Netflix. That eventually led to a 2016 four-part revival, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." The reboot further cemented Amy Sherman-Palladino's brainchild as a quintessential nostalgia watch. Bledel has since appeared in several movies and shows, including her Emmy-winning portrayal of Emily Malek in the highly acclaimed drama "The Handmaid's Tale" and her role in the forever-beloved Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series.

Lorelai, Rory, and Emily Gilmore may have been family, but each woman had a unique personality, desires, and expectations. Emily, the Gilmore family matriarch, was proper and poised. Lorelai was free-spirited and fun, and Rory was studious but prone to anxiety and insecurities. While each Gilmore lady was unique, they proved they had at least one thing in common during Gilmore Girls. All three women had a gift for party and event planning.

Gilmore Girls fans watched Rory Gilmore grow up. The famed character first appeared on screen as a 15-year-old high school sophomore, and fans bid her farewell as an Ivy League graduate. While Rory was kind, driven, and likable, she also had some negative qualities. Do Rory Gilmore’s positive and negative qualities align with the characteristics of her astrological sign? In many ways, yes.
What is Rory Gilmore’s astrological sign?
How much do astrological signs factor into things when a writer is creating a character? That largely depends on the writer. Gilmore Girls creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, has never spoken openly about whether she considered astrology when crafting her characters. Still, we can’t help but think she might have, at least when it came to Rory Gilmore.

Gilmore Girls fans don’t always agree, but they do agree on two things. According to the fandom, Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore were the endgame couple of the series. That same fan base agrees that Lorelai’s marriage to Christopher Hayden in season 7 of the famed series made absolutely no sense. Considering that the fan base is in almost complete agreement about those two things, it should be unsurprising that the most highly-ranked Gilmore Girls episode revolves largely around Luke and Lorelai, and the worst-ranked episode focuses on Lorelai and Christopher.

Gilmore Girls fans have spent the last decade arguing over who Rory Gilmore truely belonged with. While her first boyfriend, Dean Forrester, was a nice enough guy initially, most fans agree that he wasn’t the right fit for Rory. Her other two main love interests, Jess Mariano and Logan Huntzberger, have plenty of fans, though Rory and Jess edge out Logan and Rory in many Gilmore Girls popularity races. While there were plenty of good things about Jess, in the end, we don’t think he was compatible with Rory. The short-lived relationship didn’t make much sense if you think about it.

Both dedicated fans and casual viewers are familiar with the soundtrack of the dramedy series Gilmore Girls, titled, “Where You Lead,” and can sing along. The song was present at the beginning of every episode and perfectly captures the close relationship between the Gilmore Girls’ main characters, the mother and daughter duo – Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. Aside from the huge contribution the song made to the general ambiance of the show, it also has an interesting background. Gilmore Girls ran from seven seasons and has earned its place in TV history. However, its legacy would not be complete without the...

Gilmore Girls fans spent four very long seasons watching Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore flirt without admitting they had feelings for each other. Once they did, they embarked on a relationship that should have gone smoothly, except it didn’t. There were many twists and turns in their love story. There were so many turns that we wonder if their love was actually “written in the stars,” as one episode title suggested. As it turns out, according to their zodiac signs, Luke and Lorelai were compatible, with one caveat.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life was controversial. The Netflix revival followed a confusing arc and introduced characters who felt vastly different than how fans last remembered them. The show’s final four words, with which Rory Gilmore announced her pregnancy to her mother, might be the most controversial aspect of the show. Fans think there were better ways to end the series. We’ve collected a few.
Fans would have preferred Luke and Lorelai’s wedding to be the actual endpoint
Luke and Lorelai’s journey to the altar was a challenging one. Fans watched on as the couple flirted for seasons before they finally got together, only to see the couple’s love dashed by a meddling mother. When they got back together, all seemed to be going well until a long-lost child appeared. Luke and Lorelai fans have been through a lot.

Gilmore Girls fans have spent years wondering if a second revival will ever become a reality. The further they get from the 2016 Netflix event, the less likely it seems, but some recent developments in the TV landscape, particularly in the Gilmore Girls universe, have sparked renewed hope. The recent cancelation of The Resident is just one more star that seems to be aligning for a potential reunion.
Fox has canceled ‘The Resident’ after six seasons
Fox has called it quits on their medical drama The Resident. Entertainment Weekly confirmed the cancelation on Apr. 6, although fans suspected season 6 would be the show’s last before the official announcement was made. Season 6 wrapped in January, but Fox remained quiet about the show’s future until now.
So, why does The Resident’s cancelation matter to Gilmore Girls fans? A familiar face starred in the series. Matt Czuchry took on the role of Dr.

Liza Weil spent seven seasons portraying the high-strung overachiever Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls. Weil stole the show in a role created specifically for her. Paris Geller became a fan-favorite character pretty quickly. Even today, many viewers applaud her honesty and relentless pursuit of success, ignoring the fact that she was morally bankrupt. Paris had some pretty awful qualities. We’ve collected four examples of how Paris Geller was the absolute worst Gilmore Girls character.
Paris turned on Rory numerous times for absolutely no reason
It’s no big secret that Paris Geller was incredibly insecure. She seemed to have difficulty figuring out who she was and never seemed confident in her abilities, despite how loudly she claimed superiority over those around her. Insecurity often led to paranoia for Paris, and she was more than willing to turn on those closest to her when she felt they had wronged her.

When fans reconnected with Rory Gilmore in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, she was listless, anxious, and unsure of how to proceed with her personal and professional lives. She had so much promise, insisted fans, and showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino, destroyed all of that potential by making Rory entitled and a professional failure, to a degree. Some fans think Rory acted completely out of character in the revival. What if that wasn’t the case, though? What if Rory’s fall from grace was 100% realistic and predictable? There is evidence to support the theory.
There was evidence that Rory would falter in the original series
Rory was portrayed as the golden child in Gilmore Girls. She succeeded wildly at an academically rigorous prep school. Everyone in Stars Hollow loved her, and she was at ease around her grandparents’ high-society pals. Rory was everything Richard and Emily Gilmore had hoped Lorelai Gilmore would be.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life ended with Rory Gilmore informing her mother that she was pregnant. The famous final words were planned all along by showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino. While they didn’t have the same pop at the end of the revival as they would have had at the end of the original series, they did ensure one thing. The final four words gave Gilmore Girls fans a lot to think about. While a second revival has not yet been announced, we can’t help but wonder where Rory Gilmore and her baby would be today. If you’ve ever wondered how old her child would be right now, we did the math for you.
How far along was Rory Gilmore in her pregnancy?
While we don’t know much about Rory Gilmore’s pregnancy, we can estimate how far along she was when she finally told her mother she was expecting.

Most of the mother-daughter drama on Gilmore Girls happened between Lorelai and Emily Gilmore. Still, Rory and Lorelai Gilmore had a few fights during the show’s seven-season run. A couple of those fights were really big ones, too. We’ve collected three of the famed duo’s dumbest arguments.
Lorelai accusing Rory of stretching out her sweaters was among the pettiest arguments the duo ever had
Showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino wanted to establish Rory and Lorelai Gilmore as friends more than mother and daughter early on in Gilmore Girls. One of the ways she did that was by injecting petty arguments into their daily interactions. In the third episode of the series, Rory and Lorelai argue over a sweater.

During its seven-season run, Gilmore Girls introduced a variety of different characters. Some had staying power, while others did not. We understand that sometimes a character had to be written off, even if they were important to Rory or Lorelai Gilmore. Still, there were some abandoned Gilmore Girls characters that we would have loved to see more of or, at the very least, had their sudden absence buttoned up.
The mystery of Dwight’s well-being will haunt us forever
Dwight appeared in exactly one episode of Gilmore Girls. He purchased a home directly next to Lorelai and Rory Gilmore and seemed excited to integrate into the community. “Eight O’Clock at the Oasis” was centered almost entirely around Dwight, and then he was gone.

The debate can finally be put to bed. Jess Mariano is not the father of Rory Gilmore’s child. At least he’s not the biological father. Since the end of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, fans of the series have been arguing over who fathered Rory’s baby. Most fans assumed Logan Huntzberger was the father, but a few holdouts have been hoping an off-screen hookup explains the pregnancy. Well, costume supervisor Valerie Campbell just set the record straight. Logan is the father, and it was never supposed to be a big secret.
Valerie Campbell revealed that the paternity of Rory’s baby in ‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’ was never a secret
While fans have spent several years discussing the merits of each potential father, Valerie Campbell, the costume supervisor on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, insists that there was no secret.

Over the years, we’ve noticed that Gilmore Girls had a few repeating themes. The show was short on the words “I love you.” Amy Sherman-Palladino actively avoided actual breakup scenes, and the series had a pretty sex-negative tone. One of the most commonly repeated themes was unplanned pregnancy. Of Gilmore Girls’ eight main pregnancies, five of them were accidental. Let’s take a look at how realistic that was.
Who had an unplanned pregnancy in ‘Gilmore Girls’?
Gilmore Girls’ entire premise revolved around an unplanned teenage pregnancy, so, technically, Lorelai Gilmore’s pregnancy at 16 was the first mention of an unexpected baby. In season 2, Christopher Hayden discovered his girlfriend, Sherry Tinsdale, was unexpectedly expecting. The shocking news completely altered his plans to get back together with Lorelai.
In season 7 of Gilmore Girls, Lane Kim found out that her first sexual experience, on her honeymoon, resulted in a twin pregnancy.

Gilmore Girls fans have a lot of opinions about the show’s characters. Characters like Luke Danes and Babette Dell are almost universally beloved, while others are more divisive. Emily Gilmore is one of the most debated characters on Gilmore Girls. While some fans love her, others hate her. We think she has a lot of good qualities, and we are here to defend the Gilmore matriarch.
Emily Gilmore always wanted what was best for Lorelai and Rory
Emily Gilmore was a woman on a mission to ensure her family succeeded. In many ways, she felt like she had failed Lorelai Gilmore and thought perhaps she could right a wrong through Rory Gilmore. Rory was actually perfect for the job. While she was smart and beautiful, just like her mother, she lacked her independent streak and natural inclination to fight against authority.

Gilmore Girls might not have been a show about romance at its core, but more than a few love interests walked in and out of Lorelai Gilmore’s life during the show’s seven-season run. Max Medina was Lorelai’s first real love interest on Gilmore Girls. While the duo never actually got married, they got close. Do you remember how the former couple’s relationship played out?

Max Medina and Lorelai Gilmore first met in the fourth episode of Gilmore Girls. He was Rory Gilmore’s English teacher at Chilton. Despite his position at the school, Max was taken with Lorelai and tirelessly pursued her. The duo had their first date a few episodes later when Stars Hollow was blanketed in snow, and Max found himself inexplicably stuck in the tiny Connecticut hamlet. Gilmore Girls is a mostly beloved TV series, but the show still had storylines that were almost universally despised by fans. Rory Gilmore’s decision to sleep with her married ex-boyfriend is one of them. Rory and Dean Forrester’s clandestine hookups are largely blamed for Dean’s divorce from Lindsay Lister less than a year after their wedding. While we get how Rory gets some blame for the whole situation, we don’t think she was to blame for their divorce, not even a little bit.
Dean Forrester is the one who sought out Rory Gilmore and lied to her
Rory is largely blamed for the demise of Dean and Lindsay’s marriage. Lindsay was hurt by the betrayal, and we felt for her. Still, we think Rory was a victim in the situation, too. While Rory harbored some feelings for Dean, she didn’t really act on them.

Rory Gilmore and Dean Forrester were not meant to be. Gilmore Girls fans largely agree that the high school sweethearts were not supposed to last forever. Still, the relationship was important in Rory Gilmore’s life. Let’s review everything that happened between Rory and Dean.
