Tokyo DisneySea’s new Fantasy Springs has finally opened its doors, bringing the magic of beloved stories to life. One highlight for the park’s youngest visitors is Tinker Bell‘s new outdoor track ride, Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies. This enchanting ride promises a unique experience as children hop into whimsical wicker baskets to help Tinker Bell deliver gifts to the fairies and residents of Pixie Hollow. Unlike the stationary Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train at Disneyland Resort in California, these baskets spin, adding a bit of thrill without being too rough for little ones. As the queue sets the stage with larger-than-life

Plot: Cinderella is pushed too far by her evil stepsisters and stepmother, which causes her to switch out her glass shoes and use the assistance of her Fairy Godmother to seek bloody vengeance.
Review: Everyone knows what they’re in for when it comes to these movies at this point, right? I don’t need to lay out the schpeal about public domain horror? Good, because it seems as though these films are here to stay. And in instances like this, I kind of get it. A twisted take on a tale that’s been told a thousand times? We saw Seth Grahame-Smith do something similar with his Pride, Prejudice and Zombies and even Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. So it’s not like this is a brand-new concept. The real question remains: how well does this film do with transforming the Cinderella story into one of horror?

The influence of manga and anime for many years now has long left the confines of the country of Japan and has become a worldwide staple for many fans from different parts of the world. This success can be attributed to a few series from the early days, specifically, the Dragon Ball anime series that started the propagation of the culture across the globe.
A still from Dragon Ball Z
The influence and popularity of this series despite it being four decades old has to be attributed to the great work that creator Akira Toriyama did with it. And just like any great mind, he too was inspired by legendary creators and their creations before him.
More specifically, the Mangaka was inspired by many Disney animated features from the ’50s and ’60s, one of which was a feature song from the film Cinderella called Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, which became the reason behind the names of Bibidi,...

Writer/actor Felicia Day made the trek to the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con in support of her fantasy adventure audio series Third Eye, debuting on Audible on October 5, 2023. The seven-hour audio series stars Day as Laurel Pettigrew, a not-so-ordinary San Francisco resident who was supposed to rid the world of the evil Tybus. Unfortunately, Laurel couldn’t fulfill her destiny.
Audible offers this description: “Now, instead of being a legendary hero, Laurel’s the resident pariah of the magic realm. And what’s worse, the dark wizard Tybus swooped in, took over the realm, and forced all supernatural creatures to live under his tyrannical rule. He’s even stripped away the magical powers of those who refused to join his wicked cause. Yeah, everyone hates her. Well, everyone except her two roomies—Sybil, the sassiest diva of a fairy, who could throw shade with the flick of a wing. And Frank,...

Last month, we shared the news that ITN Studios, the company that brought us Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, is teaming with producer/director Louisa Warren on two fractured fairy tale horror movies: Cinderella’s Curse and Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre. Now Variety and our friends at Bloody Disgusting have gotten their hands on some images that offer a preview of Cinderella’s Curse, and you can check them out at the bottom of this article. One of those images even gives the first look at the film’s “cunning, cruel, and deadly” version of the Fairy Godmother!
Coming our way from ChampDog Films, Cinderella’s Curse was scripted by Harry Boxley. Warren told Bloody Disgusting, “This an incredibly unique spin on the Cinderella we all love and know. There are going to be some truly horrific deaths by her hands. I think the gore hounds are in for a treat in my dark retelling.

Earlier today we showed you a couple exclusive images from the upcoming horror movie Cinderella’s Curse, and we’re back with a particularly gruesome new look at the movie.
Chrissie Wunna is playing the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella’s Curse, who in Disney’s Cinderella is a kind-hearted old woman.
But this isn’t Disney’s Cinderella…
Wunna tells Bloody Disgusting, “The fairy godmother [in our movie] is cunning, cruel and deadly. Things are going to get extremely bloody when she’s around.”
“Our version of Cinderella winks towards Carrie,” Wunna teases.
Check out your first look at Wunna’s terrifying Fairy Godmother below!
ITN Studios will be releasing Cinderella’s Curse in October 2023.
Produced and Directed by Louisa Warren, the film is written by Harry Boxley (Mary Had A Little Lamb). The cast includes Kelly Rian Sanson, Chrissie Wunna and Danielle Scott.

Natasha Henstridge of the first two Species movies and John Carpenter’s Ghosts of Mars, among other credits, has signed on to star in Cinderella’s Revenge, which gives the classic fairy tale a horror twist. Filming is already underway in the UK, with Andy Edwards (Zombie Spring Breakers) directing for Sobini Films.
Starring Lauren Staerck (Curse of Jack Frost) as Cinderella, this take on the fairy tale will show us what happens when Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters and stepmother push her too far, leading her to swap her glass slippers in pursuit of blood-soaked vengeance with the help of her Fairy Godmother.
My immediate assumption was that Henstridge would be playing the wicked stepmother, but she’s actually taking on the role of the Fairy Godmother.

After being saved by the “Ding Dong Keep It On” bell on “New York Night,” Medusa was on a mission to prove she deserved her spot in Wednesday night’s “The Masked Singer” finale. She clawed her way back into the competition, taking out Gargoyle and Mantis in the “Battle of the Saved.” Next, the snake-headed songstress belted her way through the “Quarter Finals (British Invasion Night)” and sent home California Roll in the “Semi-Finals,” the quintet that originally defeated her.
With just Macaw standing between Medusa and the Golden Mask trophy, she wowed panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger with performances of “Elastic Heart” by Sia and “Welcome to the Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance. She said after the latter, “This means so much to me, and, the fact that I got to end my journey with my sister’s favorite song, and,...

It was déjà vu for David Archuleta on Wednesday night’s finale of “The Masked Singer.” The 32-year old performer who had been masquerading as Macaw all season finished in second place to Medusa, the same position he landed on Season 7 of “American Idol” when he lost to David Cook. His emotional journey of self-discovery ended with performances of “Hold Back the River” by James Bay and “All By Myself” by Eric Carmen. Panelists Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong correctly guessed the musician’s identity, but Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg were off the mark.
“We knew we were coming on this, going out of our comfort zone and doing something different,” David told host Nick Cannon during his unmasked interview. “I didn’t know it was going to be so much fun. It’s just been healing being able to be the Macaw.”

It was “Masked Singer in Space Night,” but “The Masked Singer” could have also been celebrating “’90s Night.” That’s because the two celebrities unmasked on Wednesday’s episodes were both TV stars from that era: Melissa Joan Hart (of “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” fame) and Alicia Witt. Hart was revealed to be Lamp, while Witt was Dandelion.
Witt had won the previous week as Dandelion, but her journey ended here. For Dandelion, panelist Ken Jeong guessed Witt right. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg thought it was Milla Jovovich. Robin Thicke went with Sara Bareilles and Nicole Scherzinger named Zooey Deschanel.
For Lamp, McCarthy Wahlberg, Thicke and Scherzinger all got it right with Hart. Jeong went rogue with Michelle Williams.

Wednesday is 80’s night on “The Masked Singer,” and the show is bringing out a 1980s superstar to make it official.
In the exclusive video clip above, Grammy Award-winning rapper Young Mc has everybody dancing, as he performs his 1989 hit “Bust a Move.” Back in the day, the song peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for 39 weeks and 20 weeks in the top 40 — and obviously became a dance party staple, unless you don’t know what to do (just bust a move).

While Young Mc was rocking the crowd, of course he back-up dancers started break dancing – I mean it is 80’s night after all.

Two all new celebrities in disguise took on returning champ Fairy for “Country Night” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After a performance of “Angel from Montgomery” by Bonnie Raitt, Fairy advanced to the Battle Royale where she got her wings clipped by Macaw. The magical performer pulled off her mask to reveal actress, author and host Holly Robinson Peete. Panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were flabbergasted that none of them were able to guess Fairy’s identity.
“How did you guys not know? I cannot believe it!” exclaimed Holly during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “I feel like I know everybody on that panel and nobody knew!” When asked why she wanted to be part of “The Masked Singer,” the entertainer responded, “I’ve always sort of been a closet singer. I sang the theme songs to ‘Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper’ and ’21 Jump Street.

Two all new celebrities in disguise took on returning champ Fairy for “Country Night” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After a performance of “Cant’ Fight the Moonlight” by LeAnn Rimes, Axolotl placed third place behind Fairy and Macaw. The adorable salamander pulled off her mask to reveal herself as WWE superstar Alexa Bliss. Panelist Jenny McCarthy correctly guessed the wrestling champion, but Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were off the mark.
“This was something that was personal for me because I have crippling stage fright when it comes to singing,” revealed Alexa during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “I actually cried backstage before coming out here because I was so nervous. But I am just so proud of myself because I conquered my fear and y’all were so great. Everyone was so awesome. I deal with anxiety and this was something that I wanted to show.
