“Bridgerton” is back for Season 3!
The third season of the hit Netflix series will focus on Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) finding romance with longtime pal Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). The “will they, won’t they” dynamic will further be explored as Penelope (aka Lady Whistledown) reports on the fresh faces in Regency England, including new cast members Daniel Francis as charismatic womanizer Marcus Anderson, Sam Phillips as eccentric Lord Debling, and James Phoon as simple bachelor Harry Dankworth.
A new video released as part of Netflix’s Tudum fan event shows Luke Newton and Claudia Jessie, who play Colin and Eloise Bridgerton, attempting to paint portraits of each other as they discuss the upcoming third season of the show. They’re also visited by Nicola Coughlan, who gives a sneak preview of Lady Whistledown’s next column.
And it’s not just new faces in front of the camera, but...

“Bridgerton” Season 3 has brought on three new cast members as production on the next installment of the Netflix period drama gets underway.
Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, and James Phoon have all signed on for the new season, which will focus on the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Francis (“Stay Close”) plays Marcus Anderson, described as a charismatic presence who lights up any room he enters, attracting the notice of certain matriarchs in the ton — and the ire of others.
Phillips (“The Crown”) plays Lord Debling. A genial lord with unusual interests, he has wealth and a noble title to back up his eccentricities. He’ll have no shortage of interest from young ladies this season.
Phoon (“Wreck”) plays Harry Dankworth. What Dankworth lacks in wit and intelligence, he more than makes up for with serious good looks.

In 1971, Peter Guralnick published Feel Like Going Home, which told the story of the blues through a series of revelatory profiles of Muddy Waters, Skip James, Howlin’ Wolf, and more. He ended the book with a goodbye: “I consider this chapter a swan song,” wrote Guralnick, who was 27 at the time. “Not only to the book but to my whole brief critical career. Next time you see me I hope I will be my younger, less self-conscious and critical self. It would be nice to just sit back and listen...
