Chennai, Nov 10: Director Bapu aka Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana, who introduced actor A.V. Subrahmanyam into Telugu films, says the late actor's biggest strength was making people laugh effortlessly.
Subrahmanyam, who died Friday due to liver-related problems, made his cinematic debut with Subrahmanyam's Telugu family drama "Mr. Pellam".

The 79-year-old was Saturday night admitted to the Star Hospital here after he claimed that he was feeling uneasy.

"We are extremely happy for our brother. He is also delighted for the recognition he has received finally. But we are equally sad that the award has come too late," Shankaranarayana told Ians.

"I'm happy that the audiences loved my film and what makes me happier is the overwhelming feedback I have received from Bapu sir, which is bigger than any award", Bharani told Ians.
