IFC Films has taken Us rights to recent Sundance world premiere Camp X-Ray starring Kristen Stewart.
Peter Sattler wrote and directed the story of a rookie guard at Guantanamo Bay who strikes up a friendship with a detainee. nPayman Maadi and Lane Garrison round out the key cast.
Gina Kwon produced and Emmy Ellison, Lindsay Williams, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, David Gordon Green and Sophia Lin served as executive producers.
IFC brokered the deal with UTA Independent Film Group and André Des Rochers.
