I ncredible is one of the twenty-three films selected for the co-production market of Film Bazaar 2013. We spoke to the director Piotr Trzaskalski:
Piotr Trzaskalskiaar
Tell us about your project. What language will it be in?
Incredible is based on a true story which is common in India and raises interest anywhere.
A Polish couple travels to India to see a surrogate give birth to their baby twins. Their happiness is short-lived after the husband’s past infidelity comes to light. Due to a sudden change in the laws in India, the couple cannot legally leave India with their children. They are stuck in India, and with each other. Can she forgive him? Can he make things better between them? This is a story about betrayal and the hardships one has to go through to forgive.
We want to show an India of normal people that coexist with our Polish protagonists.
