The “Vultures” hitmaker Kanye West will be visiting Russia with his wife Bianca Censori later this year to perform a gig at the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow.
Now since hearing and confirming that the rapper would indeed step foot on Russian soil with his overly controversial wife, the news was met with mixed reactions.
While a majority of the citizens can’t wait to see Kanye, most of them are unhappy that the 46-year-old would bring his 29-year-old wife along with him.
This is because Bianca has gone on to make a name for herself as the most X-rated dresser of all time. She has kept not just the media talking but the whole world has been buzzing with mixed feelings over how confident she appears in public with nearest to nothing on.
Due to the fact that Bianca has constantly left nothing to the imagination whenever she shows up...

In the first minutes of “Oddity,” a woman is faced with an impossible choice. She is home alone while her doctor husband works the night shift at a psychiatric hospital. A strange man missing an eye shows up at her door. He claims not to be a threat and informs the resident that someone else, who is trying to hurt her, is already inside the large and isolated home. Should she open the door for this figure or ignore his warning? The nerve-racking scenario takes hold of one’s anxieties and sets the tone for an unsettling ride, which IFC will release theatrically before the film streams on Shudder.

From pressed pennies to serial killer trophies, collections come in all shapes and sizes. Special assortments do not have to be uniform, nor does their common trait need to be immediately apparent. Just take the menagerie of artifacts in the basement from “Cabin in the Woods” or the museum of haunted items central to “The Conjuring” series. In fact, some of the best collections are really puzzles holding the solutions to even more arcane mysteries.
Such is the case with “Oddity,” writer/director Damian Mc Carthy’s second feature film, which premiered at SXSW as part of festival’s midnight lineup on March 8. Featuring a steely blind psychic (Carolyn Bracken) as its supernatural star and a menacing wooden mannequin as its scary centerpiece, this mostly single-location thriller is made in an almost-but-not-quite vaudevillian style that feels spiritually akin to “Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities.” It’s a richly...

Writer/Director Damian Mc Carthy‘s sophomore effort, Oddity, serves as a welcome extension of his feature debut, Caveat, in many ways. Aside from the brief return of at least one familiar face and a nightmare bunny, Oddity continues the filmmaker’s exploration of supernatural karma and retribution with offbeat characters and a unique vision for scares. Armed with a tighter narrative, a lighter tone, and a creepy mannequin, Mc Carthy further establishes his horror style.
Oddity begins with an intense scenario that sees a woman, Dani (You Are Not My Mother’s Carolyn Bracken), forced to decide whether to trust the desperate stranger at her door, insisting someone snuck into her empty, rural house when she wasn’t looking. Dani’s ultimate decision sets up the overarching mystery. A quick time jump ahead reveals that Dani was murdered that fateful night and that her husband, Ted (Gwilym Lee), is...

The world’s creepiest mannequin holds the secret behind a shocking death in Damian McCarthy’s Oddity. Dani (Carolyn Bracken) is struggling to restore an old estate inherited by her busy doctor husband, Ted (Gwilym Lee). When a mysterious and violent death befalls her as she’s alone in the house one night, it’s up to her blind medium twin sister, Darcy (also Bracken) to solve the case. However, Darcy won’t be working alone, there’s also a sinister mannequin in the mix, that seems to be more than meets the eye. After Dani’s death, Ted moves along a bit too quickly with his paramour Yana (Caroline Menton), with whom he’d worked at the hospital. It all seems a bit fishy but no one can make the pieces fit,...

Skymed, Season One, was released last year to lukewarm reviews. The show was greenlit for a second season, and it has been out for people to watch and enjoy since January 11th, 2024. It’s a CBC show, and the second installment began from the point the last season ended, and it is an extension of the life all the nurses and pilots lead in the northern and colder regions of Canada by saving lives. Skymed Season 1 introduced the viewers to the characters and walked them through their pasts and jobs. While many had other aspirations, only a few of them were ready to quit the air ambulance to pursue their dreams.
Spoilers Ahead
Is Chopper Back With The Air Ambulance Service?
Chopper, at the end of the season, was all set to join the selection camp organized by the Canadian space agency, and he was determined to be an astronaut.

The second of nine films made by director Jess Franco and writer-producer Harry Alan Towers over the course of only two years, The Girl from Rio is their jazzy, featherweight riff on the spy-fi genre, a heady blend of international intrigue and semi-science-fictional elements, popular (especially in Europe) in the wake of the James Bond films. It’s also a sequel of sorts to Towers’s earlier film The Million Eyes of Sumuru, directed by Lindsay Shonteff, based on the exploits of the Sax Rohmer super-villainess. Though in this film, for some inexplicable reason, the character is regularly referred to as Sunanda (obviously and not very convincingly dubbed in post) and listed in the credits as Sumitra. Blame it on Rio!
Like many a Franco film, The Girl from Rio opens with a protracted erotic dance routine: Clad only in a webbed body stocking, Yana (Beni Cardoso) does her number for a recumbent man,...

There’s a clear sense that something is missing in Wonderwell. Either a scene or two has been cut, or the existing scenes have been rearranged to make the story work. At one level, Wonderwell, which is the late Carrie Fisher’s last performance, is a coming-of-age fantasy drama, and midway through, it also gives a hint that it’s about child abuse and exploitation as well. Any way you look at it, beyond the flaws lies a great story, which, if explored well, can be more than it was in this film. The Alice in Wonderland vibes from this movie are pretty strong, but the film’s strange originality pulls you in. Wonderwell might not be a great film, but it’s worth watching as it was completed in the memory of Carrie Fisher.

Carrie Fisher in WonderwellImage: Vertical
It’s been six and a half years since Carrie Fisher died, just six weeks after wrapping what would be her final project, an urban fantasy film titled Wonderwell. If you haven’t heard of it, that’s probably because it never had any kind of commercial release—until now.

Carrie Fisher’s last movie — a magical coming-of-age tale set in Italy — has released its first trailer.
Wonderwell sees a young girl named Violet (portrayed by newcomer Kiera Milward) and her American family — including sister Savannah (Tiger Free) — move to Italy after she becomes the face of a world-renowned designer’s (Rita Ora) fashion label. When Violet wanders into a forest near the enchanting medieval village her family has come to stay in, she meets a “fabled” witch of the forest, Fisher’s Hazel.
Guided by the witch into a mysterious portal, Violet glimpses what her future holds, while discovering she may be facing a journey from which there is no return. The film’s logline describes it as “a thrilling, humorous and often terrifying voyage.” Within an imaginary and enchanting realm, the inquisitive tween will have an experience that transforms her — and her world — forever.

This post contains spoilers for "Star Wars: The High Republic: Path of Vengeance" by Cavan Scott, released May 2, 2023.
For those unfamiliar with the Star Wars era of the High Republic, it's set between a few hundred and a hundred and fifty years before the events of "The Phantom Menace." There, the Jedi and the Republic are both in their prime. Leslye Headland's upcoming show "The Acolyte" promises to be the cap on the era that leads to the eventual fall of the Jedi, but in the meantime, we're being treated with an epic story told across many books compliments of the Lucasfilm publishing program.
Phase One introduced us to the Nihil, a deadly band of pirates led by Marchion Ro and their vendetta against the Jedi. Phase Two, where we are now, took us back in time another hundred or more years, to a time when the Path of...

Director Kateryna Gornostai’s documentary-like film, originally released in 2021, has assumed a heartbreaking new significance since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
This gentle, authentic-feeling coming-of-age drama from Ukrainian film-maker Kateryna Gornostai premiered at the Berlin festival in 2021. Released in the UK almost a year to the day since the Russian invasion, her film has become unbearably poignant. It follows a class of 16-year-olds over the course of a single winter: nothing major happens; they hang out, drink a fair bit, party a little, grapple with sexuality and mental health. Actually, the loveliest thing about the film is how it keeps them all safe. They are nice kids; we leave them with everything to live for.
At times it feels like we’re watching a documentary. The actors seem so relaxed and intimate – like actual classmates who’ve grown up together over the years, and who know each other inside out.
