Simon Whiteley - Guardian of the Mimlacode and Mimlafoundation. Tears of rain create the forest of green the Eirys Coeden.
Born 26th July 1962 in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, United Kingdom. His childhood was spent between Hastings then Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK and Khartoum, Sudan, Africa.
Production Designer, Art Director, Visual Effects Supervisor, Writer and Screen Writer. He completed his BA (Hons) in Design and Visual Communication in Birmingham, UK then began his career at the BBC Pebble Mill in Birmingham before moving to BBC Shepherds Bush in London.
In 1986 he joined BPCC Video Graphics and did a short stint at the newly emerging Frame Store in London before heading to Sydney, Australia in 1987 to work for The Video Paint Brush Company precursor to Animal Logic which he joined in 1991 and has been working with them on commercials then movies for over thirty years.
He now spends his days with the mimlafoundation, saving what is left of this rainbow coloured planet we call home.
