- Robert 'Tiger' West was born on July 4, 1924 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was a production manager and actor, known for Dino-Riders (1988), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) and Charlotte's Web (1973). He died on February 14, 2006 in London, England, UK.
- Began working in animation in the 1940s assisting at Disney; he later worked at MGM where he assisted on the "Tom and Jerry" cartoons.
- Headed up the Xerography department at Hanna-Barbera.
- Was an infant actor in silent film shorts for Warner Bros. from 1924 to 1926.
- Retired in 1989.
- In 2005, the Animation Guild (IATSE Local #839, of which he was a longtime member) presented "Tiger" with the Golden Award for his 50-year career in the animation field.
