Robin Williams remains one of the most beloved comedians of all time, even though he passed away in 2014. From his breakout role in TV’s Mork & Mindy to movies like Good Will Hunting, he delighted audiences. To many fans, however, Williams is best known as the voice of the Genie in the Disney animated classic Aladdin. The actor broke barriers with his no-holds-barred performance, helping the film to become a huge success. And he improvised hours of comedic material in the process.
‘Aladdin’ is a beloved Disney classic
Aladdin tells the story of a young good-hearted street thief named Aladdin, who finds a magic lamp containing a gregarious genie. The Genie, voiced by Williams, helps Aladdin to disguise himself as a prince so that he can court Princess Jasmine. Along the way, Aladdin finds that he has become a target of Jafar, the Sultan’s evil advisor. In the end,...

While it seems like slasher movies disappeared sometime in the early 2000s, approximately after the emergence of Scream and its flood of opportunistic imitators and cash-grabs, masked killers and their teenage fodder never truly went away. More accurately, major studios put a pause on big-budget slashers. In the meantime, indie filmmakers like Greg Huson kept the subgenre from disappearing altogether; his movie Shredder was one of several last dying breaths for old-fashioned, original slashers before splatter films and remakes began to flourish.
While the bigger and more notable slasher franchises haven’t exactly embraced ice-cold surroundings, movies like the Idaho-shot Shredder understand the potential fun and advantages of a wintry environment. It brings new meaning to the word “stranded.” The contrast between stark whites and deep reds is also a satisfying sight for horror fans, especially when a movie is as blanketed in white powder as this one. Right from the start,...

The death of beloved comedian Gilbert Gottfried at the age of 67 after a lengthy battle with type II myotonic dystrophy came as a shock to many fans of his standup career, as well as fans of perhaps his most iconic role, the saucy sidekick Iago in Disney’s Aladdin.
And it was particularly devastating to those who had known him for years, including the actor Jonathan Freeman, who is perhaps best known for voicing the villainous Jafar in Aladdin. Like Gottfried, he has voiced the role for the past 31 years,...

Netflix’s Fuller House has been acquired by Gac Family in a rare syndication deal for a streaming series. But how exactly does the fledgling cable network intend to deal with episodes that are, well… fuller?
Whereas episodes of predecessor Full House — which also airs on Gac Family — ran anywhere from 21-24 minutes, the Netflix revival rarely had episodes clock in under 27 minutes, with some (such as the 2016 pilot) running as long as 36 minutes.

Last summer's Aladdin made Disney rich enough to impress a princess. Studio stands by its oath loyalty to a sequel or three.
There's still a lot of gray area, but after the billion-dollar success of last summer’s reboot, Disney is developing a sequel to Aladdin, according to Variety. Director Guy Ritchie is scheduled to return to the helm. Aladdin starred Will Smith as Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Jasmine, who are expected to take another ride on the carpet.
Aladdin 2 will be an original story and not follow the sequels to 1992's Aladdin, 1994's The Return of Jafar or Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996), which went straight-to-dvd. The Aladdin 2 screenplay will be written by John Gatins, who was nominated for an Academy Award for writing the Denzel Washington film Flight, and Andrea Berloff, who was nominated for an Oscar...

Fuller House might be ending with season five, but it seems like the show's last installment will be all about beginnings. In the new trailer for the final season, things pick up where they left off with Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and Jimmy Gibbler (Adam Hagenbuch) welcoming a daughter via a surrogate, Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). Not only are Stephanie and Jimmy stepping into their new roles as parents, but they're also preparing to wed!
Meanwhile, D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) and Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) will continue to explore their relationship, which might also include wedding bells. As for Kimmy and her on-again, off-again beau, Fernando Guerrero (Juan Pablo Di Pace), well, they're still on-again, off-again. But through it all, the Fuller House squad - including Danny (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), and Joey (Dave Coulier) - will be there to help everyone navigate the ups and downs of life,...

Saying goodbye to Fuller House is not going to be easy.
Netflix on Friday dropped the trailer for the final season, and it shows the type of pivotal moments you would expect from a show gearing up for its swansong.
There's Stephanie and Jimmy bringing their newborn home from the hospital, D.J. and Steve questioning whether it's time to get married, and lots of other goodies for fans.
Now, you may be questioning just how big that beautiful house is, and thankfully, the show is addressing that.
“There’s gonna be a lot of people in this house,” Ramona says during the two-minute clip.
“You know, legally, if three more people move in, we have to register as a commune.”
Okay then.
What we do know is that the show is bringing back Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, John Stamos as Jesse Katsopolis, and Dave Coulier as Joey Gladstone as guest stars.
