Former sitcom child star Jeremy Licht is a dad for the first time - his wife Kimberly Wallis Licht gave birth to a baby girl on New Year's Eve.
The couple welcomed Jordan Zoey Licht into the world five and a half weeks early at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center - 61 minutes before clocks struck midnight.
And they were forced to cancel a New Year's Eve party to head to the delivery room when actress Wallis Licht's waters broke.
The Hogan Family star tells People, "We were planning to go to a New Year's Eve party when my wife started having contractions. I'm thrilled, shocked that it was this soon, but thrilled. Everybody's healthy, and it really was an incredible experience." »

Jeremy Licht, former child star of the '80s sitcom The Hogan Family, and his wife Kimberly Wallis Licht welcomed their daughter New Year's Eve, he tells People exclusively. Jordan Zoey Licht was born 5½ weeks early at 10:59 p.m. on Dec. 31 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. "We were planning to go to a New Year's Eve party when my wife started having contractions," says Licht, 38, who played Jason Bateman's brainy brother on the series. "I'm thrilled – shocked that it was this soon, but thrilled. Everybody's healthy, and it really was an incredible experience." Jordan weighed 4 lbs. »
