Warren Beatty and Jane Fonda's one-time drama coach, Andreas Voutsinas, has died at the age of 79. The Greek actor and stage director passed away on Tuesday, June 8 at a hospital in Athens.
Voutsinas learned his trade at the famous Actors' Studio in New York in 1957 and went on to enjoy a career spanning more than 50 years. He established himself as an actor with roles in musical "The Producers" and in Luc Besson's "The Big Blue", and he directed a young Jane Fonda in 1960 Broadway play titled "The Fun Couple".
Voutsinas later turned drama teacher to pass on his skills to rising stars including Beatty, Faye Dunaway and "The Graduate" actress Anne Bancroft before relocating to France in 1968.
