Anthony Snell was also an RAF pilot during WW2 and after being brought down evaded capture, until unluckily walked into some German soldiers at a small checkpoint. He then was taken away(presumably to be shot)instead he fled, was fired upon then and incredibly survived being shot seven times escaping from the soldiers, he also received fifteen pieces of grenade shrapnel to his person during this escape. Some hours later, while stumbling in an and out of consciousness he once again ran into the same soldiers and was captured and faced execution for being a spy, this time.
