- Worked together with Maxine Howe on a children's book/audio cassette "Bunny Tales", a collection of four stories about a group of bunnies.
- He has adapted and performed six solo stage shows including A Confederacy of Dunces and The Prince Of West End Avenue (which he also performed Off-Broadway). His adaptation of The Set-Up won the London Fringe Award for Best One Person Show.
- Other writing work includes plays for BBC Radio, such as the Sony Award-winning Dr Strangelove, in which he acted half a dozen roles. The London Evening Standard newspaper called him "the best-known American voice on BBC Radio".
- He has recorded dozens of audio books and won the APA award as Best Male Reader for Life Of Pi.
- He has also given voice to a number of animals, including "Mr Beaver" in BBC TV's The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe and "Gnasher The Dog" in the TV Cartoon Dennis & Gnasher. He voiced a talking parrot in a James Bond film and a talking mouse in a long-running series of British TV adverts.
- (1999) He acted in Wallace Shawn's play, "Aunt Dan and Lemon," at the Almeida Theatre in London, England with Miranda Richardson, Glenne Headly, Amira Cesar, Corey Johnson and Janine Duvitski in the cast. Ted Cairns was director.
