Grand Canyon National Park officials found the body of 38-year-old Sarah Beadle on Wednesday after the Texas mother was reported missing while on a hike with two children.
Beadle was with her daughter, Laura, and her nephew, Evan, during a hike at the park on August 1. When Laura became dizzy due to the heat, Beadle left the children in a safe area and ventured out in search of water and help, explains Beadle’s husband, Scott Beadle, in a Facebook post. At some point, Beadle made “a wrong turn and got lost.” A passing hiker eventually spotted the children and returned them to camp,...

The Calabasas man whose home Justin Bieber egged in 2014 now wants a hefty damages payment for his 2015 claim that the singer is a “bully” who has repeatedly threatened and harassed him.
According to new court documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday and obtained by People, Bieber’s neighbor Jeffrey Schwartz is slamming the star’s legal team for trying to cap damages from his civil suit against the singer at $25,000. Justin Bieber has got to be kidding ... trying to dodge responsibility for allegedly terrorizing a neighbor by trying to turn it into a penny-ante lawsuit ... so claims the "terrorized" neighbor. It's pretty incredible. Jeffrey Schwartz has already collected $90,000 from Bieber for the now-famous egging of his Calabasas home. Schwartz now wants more ... for all the emotional distress he claims he suffered from the egging, alleged spitting and fight challenges at the hands and mouth of the Biebs.

Justin Bieber's former neighbor has filed a lawsuit seeking more than $25,000 in damages for assault and battery, emotional distress, and trespassing claims, according to the Associated Press. Jeffrey Schwartz says that over the course of Bieber's stay in his gated Calabasas, California, community, the pop singer took advantage of neighbors by hosting loud parties, smoking a lot of pot, and having his bodyguards intimidate naysayers. The Biebs also allegedly spit on Schwartz two years ago, after a confrontation about reckless driving. At the time, Bieber apparently was under the impression that he was either a camel or that the world and its inhabitants were his personal spittoon. Tragically, neither were true, but that didn't stop the bad behavior. Bieber then egged the man's house. Afterward, the singer was charged with vandalism and had to pay the family $80,000 in restitution.TMZ adds that Bieber's bodyguards called Schwartz "little Jew boy.

Justin Bieber has just found himself in another legal entanglement — this time with an anti-Semitic twist. The “Never Say Never” singer is being sued by his former neighbor and egging victim who claims emotional distress because, among other things, Bieber’s bodyguards allegedly called him a “little Jew boy.” In the suit, Jeffrey Schwartz — who was Bieber’s neighbor in Calabasas, California — say that Bieber and his entourage ran amok in the neighborhood — holding noisy bashes, spitting in Schwartz’s face and cursing at his wife and child. Even if you've stayed away from every John Waters film ever made, the chances of not knowing who Divine was are slim. The image of a 300-pound drag queen wearing a skin-tight red dress with candy-colored wig, bombastic face make-up, and pointing a gun at everything society consumes to be beautiful has been burnt deep enough into the culture to be instantly recognizable. Whether you've actually seen "Pink Flamingos" or not is temporarily beside the point. Loud, proud, and outrageous in every entertaining sense of the word; Divine has become—largely thanks to his work with Waters—a symbol for the countercultural movement in the '60s and '70s, and the personification of the “fuck you, you fucking fucks” angst towards society's norms. Jeffrey Schwartz's documentary on the man behind the queen, which has been raising dust at festivals around the world, works so well because you don't...

The eligibility of documentaries for awardage from both that lusted after winged woman (Emmy) and the coveted naked man (Oscar) is a labyrinthine maze from which we would never exit were we to foolishly enter. In fact, someone needs to make a documentary about That to sort it all out. Documentaries leave strange crumbs all over both the big and small screens on their long walking journey through often complicated and extremely protacted "releases".
I bring this up because a portion of the Emmy nominations were announced today (like The Grammys there are hundreds of categories) in the non-fiction fields of news and documentary. I was surprised, for example, to see Semper Fi: Always Faithful, The Loving Story and We Were Here as nominees. You may recall they were all Oscar finalists (though not nominees) back in 2011 and now they're up for 2013 Emmys! Actual nominees from that Oscar year show up too,...

Actor Tab Hunter is set to appear in the documentary "Tab Hunter Confidential" about what it was like to live a lie in Hollywood. Titled after Hunter's 2005 autobiography, the documentary will be directed by Jeffrey Schwartz (""Wrangler: Anatomy of an Icon," and "Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story").
The documentary will profile Hunter as a closeted gay actor at a time when Hollywood forced their homosexual stars to hide so they could market them as heterosexuals. Allan Glaser, Hunter's longtime partner, and Neil Koenigsberg are set to produce.
A little bio about Hunter from Wikipedia:
