The weekend’s Wild Card playoff games drew solid ratings for the NFL. Viewership for Saturday and Sunday averaged 30.5 million viewers across four games, up 7% from the 2019 Wild Card average of 28.6 million viewers. It is the most-watched Wild Card round average since 2016.
Sunday’s Vikings-Saints game, in which a Kyle Rudolph touchdown gave Minnesota a 26-20 upset win over the Nfc’s No. 3 seed New Orleans Saints in overtime, drew 30.8M viewers across Fox, Fox Deportes and streaming platforms. It ranks as Fox’s most-watched telecast of any kind since the 2019 Nfc Championship Game, up 17% from last year’s comparable Wild Card window, and up 2% over last year’s Seahawks-Cowboys matchup on Fox. The Vikings-Saints face-off also was the most-streamed NFL playoff game ever, according to Fox.

Kyle Rudolph's stellar season just got even better -- his wife just gave birth to twins!!! Jordan Rudolph delivered Andersyn and Finley late Tueday night -- and the Minnesota Vikings tight end is pumped!! In fact, he was right there by her side for the whole delivery -- which is awesome considering it's the middle of the NFL season ... and Kyle's job has serious travel demands. Adrian Peterson, the Minnesota Vikings player, has reached a plea deal to avoid jail time after being charged with child abuse.

As part of the plea deal, Peterson pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanor reckless assault, and the running back will also have to pay a $4,000 fine in addition to performing 80 hours of community service. The plea deal also dictates that Peterson must participate in parenting classes and be placed under two years probation.
“I’m just glad this is over. I can put this behind me, and me and my family can move forward,” Peterson told reporters.
In September, Peterson was indicted was indicted on one charge of reckless or negligent injury to a child after an investigation found that he had injured his 4-year-old son while using a switch to spank him. Peterson maintains that he was simply disciplining his child...
