Co-founded the game development company Ion Storm after quitting Id
Software, because he felt the artistic nature of the games worked on at
Id were given less attention than the technical aspects of the games.
Originally believed that Ion Storm could produce Daikatana in only 7
months. In the end, he and his crew needed more than 4 years to finish
the game, because many coders and designers left the company during
development.
Now, after his second company "Monkeystone Games" wasn't that
successful, he and his old-time friend Tom Hall start their own company
KingsIsle Entertainment.
