Most Marvel fans have been worried sick to stomach about Kang following Jonathan Major’s dismissal from the Marvel Studios after the actor’s conviction for assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. But Major’s Kang was a big bad in the making for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier can only be described as a masterpiece. The film perfectly exemplifies the Russo Brothers’ genius, showcasing excellent storytelling, fight sequences like no other, Oscar-worthy acting, and unparalleled cinematography. It was as though the entire cast and crew were in a harmonious dance, with everyone playing their part and doing their best to make one of the best films to come out in the MCU.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe was once a blockbuster behemoth, churning out hit comic book movies with superheroes and villains who popped in and out of multiple franchises, occasionally culminating in the massive spectacle of "Avengers" movies. It all came to a magnificent head with the double dose of "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame," completing the masterful storyline dubbed The Infinity Saga and shattering the box office. Sadly, recent years have seen the MCU take a dive in quality as the quantity of their output in film and television has increased (something the comic book movie makers will be changing soon). But thankfully, Lego has a way for us to cherish the glory days of the MCU.

Disparage the Marvel Cinematic Universe all you want, but there's no denying that when it comes to casting, Kevin Feige and the McU's longtime casting director, Sarah Halley Finn, have the magic touch. It's all but impossible now to picture anyone other than Robert Downey Jr. lending his snarky wit to the self-declared "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist" Tony Stark, or to imagine a different actor bringing the same spot-on mix of wholesomeness and New Yorker defiance like Chris Evans did as Steve Rogers. And let's not forget Thor and Loki, two Marvel Comics veterans who could've easily been dismissed as dorky C-listers, only to become the franchise's most long-lasting players thanks to Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.
For all of its missteps, that hasn't changed in the MCU post-"Avengers: Endgame." Esteemed character actors Oscar Isaac, Hailee Steinfeld, and Florence Pugh all brought the full brunt of their talents to...

While the Supernatural star isn’t new to playing a superhero, especially since his role as the Caped Crusader in the DC Animated Universe. However, one role had rumors going about left and right.

Before later movies characterized by their muddy CGI and digital collage of actors, the Marvel Cinematic Universe actually pulled off some cool filmmaking tricks with the help of special effects. Case in point: the puny, pre-serum version of Steve Rogers fans of the then-new series saw in 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger." According to The Wrap, the movie achieved Steve's original look via a combination of strategies, and scenes set before his transformation into the Cap we know were actually shot three times.
In one version of the scene, Chris Evans would stand in place and deliver his lines. In another, a scrawnier stand-in — "Atonement" and "Merlin" actor Leander Deeny — would perform in his place. In a third variation, the scene was reportedly filmed without any actor. This gave the effects team tons of footage to work their magic on. While productions typically shoot out of order, The Wrap...

Audiences found themselves curious if Chris Evans intends to return to his fan-favorite role as Captain America.
It may be hard to believe for some, but over five years have now passed since audiences last saw Chris Evans appear on-screen as Steve Rogers, the MCU’s first Captain America.
For those who, somehow, did not see 2019’s mega-blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, Rogers traveled back in time to 1948 to live his life with his one true love, Peggy Carter. He materialized at the end of the film in the present to hand off his vibranium shield to Sam Wilson so that he could carry on his legacy.

Being one of the MCU’s beloved characters, Captain America has been involved in numerous projects. Currently, there’s a movie in the works centered on Sam Wilson’s Captain America, slated for release in 2025. Additionally, recent rumors suggest that Chris Evans’s Captain America may come out of retirement.
Reportedly, Chris Evans is set to return in a limited series that follows Captain America’s journey to return the Infinity Stones to their rightful places in time, as per MyTimeToShineHello.
The concept does seem intriguing, especially considering that the process depicted in the movies was glossed over and rushed. This rumor gains further traction from other recent reports suggesting that Evans has already signed on to reprise his former role.

The concept does sounds intriguing since the process we’ve seen in the movies was simply glossed over and rushed. The rumor is further supported by other recent rumors that Evans has apparently already signed an agreement to return to his former role.

There have been rumblings for a while now that Marvel Studios has big plans for Chris Evans' Captain America in the MCU. We've already heard chatter about a Human Torch cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine (not to mention the actor's long-awaited return as Steve Rogers in Avengers: Secret Wars), but how about a TV show?
According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, a limited series is in development for Disney+ which will revolve around Captain America returning the Infinity Stones to their correct place in time following the events of Avengers: Endgame.
This is a story fans have long said they want to see, and a show like this would be a good way to make Marvel Studios' streaming offering feel like must-watch event TV again (which was the case when WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier launched in 2021).
We've heard about possible plans for this TV show before, so here's hoping it's finally moving forward.

Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame marked its five-year anniversary on April 30, and composer Alan Silvestri has now explained why he feels one sequence in particular has had such a lasting impact.
We are, of course, referring to the "Portals" scene.
During the climactic battle, Thanos manages to defeat Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America - but Steve Rogers isn't about to stay down. As the Sentinel of Liberty dusts himself off and prepares to fight until his last breath, he hears a familiar "on your left," and turns around to see Black Panther and the others recently-revived heroes assembling through Doctor Strange and Wong's mystical portals.
While speaking to Games Radar, Silvestri said he believes this moment has become so beloved and iconic because of what Rogers had experienced in the build-up.
"The spectacle [of Portals] is ultimately overwhelming, but I think it's emotional because we've never seen every ounce of optimism destroyed in Captain America,...

The Minions are going Marvel for Illumination‘s Despicable Me 4 by getting the Super Soldier treatment in a new trailer! It’s been roughly two years since Minions: The Rise of Gru, and younger generations are clamoring for more outlandish antics from Gru’s pill-shaped helpers with a penchant for madness. He’s a mama’s boy through and through, but that won’t keep Gru from vying for his love and adoration.
Despicable Me 4 finds Steve Carell reprising his role as the reformed villain Gru. Throughout the Despicable Me series of films, Gru has left a life of villainy behind in favor of becoming a father, husband, and secret agent. If there's any Marvel Cinematic Universe movie that can stand on its own two legs as a complete story, it's "Captain America: The First Avenger." Well, excluding the prologue and the epilogue, which show the frozen Steve Rogers being discovered in the Arctic and then waking up in modern-day New York City, respectively. The prologue lets you know ahead of time that Cap's sacrifice in the third act won't be fatal, while the ending is pure sequel bait.
"Captain America" is definitely not the most monumental MCU movie, but it's one of the most enjoyable. The MCU clearly takes its cues from the blockbusters of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige's youth — from "Star Wars" to "Raiders of the Lost Ark." "Captain America" is one of the few that feels like a pulpy, earnest Spielberg adventure movie. It makes sense since director Joe Johnston is budget Spielberg; he directed "Jurassic Park 3...

The MCU seems to have hit a rough patch lately with its movies. But things have been more positive on the TV side, with WandaVision, Loki, and Moon Knight garnering universal acclaim. The latest win for the franchise takes the form of X-Men ’97, a continuation of the classic animated X-Men series from 1997.
The show has been praised by fans and critics for staying true to the spirit of the original series while also feeling modern and fresh. Edward Norton’s The Incredible Hulk was not as bad of a movie, nor was Norton a bad Hulk. In fact, many Marvel fans would love to have him as the Green Goliath instead of MCU’s Mark Ruffalo. Since the past decade, fans have been wanting to see more of the meaner and scarier Hulk instead of Ruffalo’s toned-down, friendlier version that we got in recent years.

Avengers: Endgame ended with Steve Rogers passing the Captain America mantle to Sam Wilson. Two years later in 2021, we caught up with the hero in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, learning he'd declined Steve's offer (meaning John Walker took his place).
By the time the finale rolled around, Sam had decided to wield the shield and did so in style. Four years after that series hit Disney+, we'll next see the former Falcon take centre stage in Captain America: Brave New World.
After Happy Meal toys, leaked promo art, and more, we finally have an official look at Sam suited up courtesy of Empire Online. The suit looks good here, but many fans have already argued that it's a step back from what we wore in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Marvel fans have waited a long time to see their all-new Captain America in full swing. This year marks half a decade since Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers bowed out of Avengers: Endgame by handing the shield over to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson – and since streaming series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier largely wrestled with Wilson’s decision to take on the Cap mantle, his debut proper as the Star-Spangled Man is coming next year in Captain America: Brave New World. Stepping up to headline status, it’ll be the biggest test of Sam Wilson’s life. “It’s really his coming-out show,” director Julius Onah tells Empire in the Deadpool & Wolverine issue. “It’s about putting him through the paces.”

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is one of the most anticipated MCU projects. Like plenty of other movies & shows, the development was put back on track following the conclusion of the SAG-AFTRA strike. Everybody expected that the movie would be at least somewhat delayed. Initially ‘Captain America 4’ switched dates with ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ until being delayed for almost a year, now bound to be released on February 15, 2025.
We already know that Sam Wilson will be sporting a new suit in the movie, which is a departure from his suit at the end of ‘The Falcon & the Winter Soldier.’
Now Nexus Point News provided us with a look at Captain America’s helmet and Falcon’s helmet.

Marvel Studios' The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now available on 4K Uhd and Blu-ray Steelbook, and IGN has shared a deleted scene from the first episode of the Disney+ series.
Titled "Flight Lesson," the sequence picks up after Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) gives his speech at a ceremony where Captain America's shield is being put on display at a museum. Wilson still has some reservations about taking up the mantle that was passed to him by Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in Avengers: Endgame, and speaks to Col. James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) about it.
Wilson notes that his former teammate appears to be fully recovered from the accident which left him almost paralysed in Civil War, and Rhodey says he doesn't "need the hardware" any more thanks to a new procedure. Sam then apologizes for his part in what happened, and Rhodey assures his friend that there are no hard feelings.

Chris Evans first played Steve Rogers in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and, after multiple appearances across the MCU (including in the Avengers and Spider-Man franchises), the actor finally bid farewell to the role in Avengers: Endgame.
Steve has been M.I.A. ever since, though his final fate still hasn't been revealed to us. However, with the Multiverse in play, there are endless possibilities regarding Captain America's return in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Over the weekend, it was reported that Evans is now a lock for that movie. While we anticipate him assembling alongside the other original six Avengers as the "classic" Cap, we'd bet on the actor playing a few different Variants as well.
Below, you'll find some of the most exciting, intriguing, and likely possibilities...
6. Soldier Supreme

Thanks to last year's strikes, Captain America: Brave New World is one of many 2024 movies now not heading our way until next year.
A few pieces of merchandise have started showing up here and there, though most of it will have been pushed back to coincide with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier sequel's new release date.
Still, it seems nothing will mess up McDonald's Happy Meal schedule as Captain America: Brave New World toys are starting to show up in restaurants across the U.S. As well as a closer look at Red Hulk, we see Diamondback sporting a comic-accurate costume and using the same diamond tips as the version seen on the page.
With rumours swirling that the Serpent Society has been cut from the movie, this may be all we see of her.
The bigger reveal below is new promo art of Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson suited up as Captain America.

Elizabeth Olsen has played the role of Wanda Maximoff a.k.a Scarlet Witch in the MCU since Avengers: Age of Ultron. From being a brainwashed member of Hydra to being one of the Og Avengers, the character has had an interesting arc in the MCU, which seemingly ended in 2022’s Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
However, Scarlet Witch had one of her most powerful and tragic moments in Avengers: Infinity War where she had to protect Vision, who possessed the Mind Stone, from the Black Order. While there are some amazing scenes with the actress in the film, fans seem to be annoyed at the MCU for deleting a pivotal sequence from the movie.

Torres will be one of a few heroes taking the spotlight in 2025's Captain America: Brave New World, suiting up his wings in Mackie's first solo movie as the Star-Spangled Avenger.

With "Avengers: Endgame" behind us and Chris Evans having retired from the Marvel Cinematic Universe until further notice, we can all agree that "Captain America: The First Avenger" is the best Steve Rogers solo film, right? From its character work to its action sequences and a rousing score by the legendary Alan Silvestri, director Joe Johnston's WWII adventure is a top-tier MCU movie. While it may lack the visceral melees that the Russo Brothers brought to its sequels, "The First Avenger" delivers more than enough whiz-bang thrills and Brooklyn attitude to make up the difference (that and its politics are much less confused than those of "The Winter Soldier").
Johnston's superhero picture also boasts what is still one of the McU's most distinguished casts, pairing Evans with Hayley Atwell, Tommy Lee Jones, Sebastian Stan, Hugo Weaving, Stanley Tucci, Toby Jones, and Dominic Cooper. Even Natalie Dormer, David Bradley,...

Wyatt Russell debuted in the MCU as John Walker/ US Agent in 2021’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. John Walker was a great addition to the MCU as his complex and divisive position within the show created a lot of interesting chatter among audiences.

When Scarlett Johansson Decided To Put Her Foot Down Against Black Widow’s S*xual Costume ( Photo Credit – IMDb )
Scarlett Johansson is one of the most successful and fierce superhero characters in the MCU. But what if we tell you, even she was tried to be s*xualized with her Black Widow costume going bizarre until she decided to put her foot down? A group of excited writers decided to twerk her character a bit.
During her introductory scene, where she gives a bike ride to Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, she is supposed to be wearing tennis attire with the shortest skirt length ever possible. But Scar decided to voice her opinion in a world that was more than just a place with a male gaze for women.
She refused to wear the skimpy clothes, and the scene was sent to the trash can as quickly as it could be done.

The rumors about the MCU undergoing a reboot are not recent. Back in October 2023, there was significant speculation surrounding the potential role of ‘Secret Wars’ as the pivotal moment marking the transition between the old and new MCU.
Throughout 2023, the MCU faced considerable challenges, marked by a noticeable decline in content quality. Formerly successful elements failed to generate the same immense profits. ‘Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania’ experienced a significant setback, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ achieved success but with a lackluster opening, and Disney+ shows faced criticism for their perceived lack of direction, leading to waning overall interest. ‘The Marvels’ proved to be the final blow, becoming the lowest-grossing movie in MCU history and the first Marvel Studios film to fall short of the $100 million mark in domestic box office revenue.
Concrete evidence of the MCU’s impending reboot surfaced through Joanna Robinson’s book, ‘The Reign of Marvel Studios,...

The rumors that the MCU is rebooting are nothing new. In October of 2023, there was quite a lot of talk regarding the possibility of ‘Secret Wars’ being the breaking point between the new and old MCU.
MCU has been struggling for almost the entirety of 2023. There is an obvious lack of quality when it comes to released content. The things that used to work no longer draw billions in profit. ‘Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania’ failed in a big way, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ was a hit but had an underwhelming opening, and Disney+ shows are heavily criticized for their lack of direction, which results in fewer and fewer people interested in the content overall. ‘The Marvels’ only served as the final nail in the coffin as the lowest-grossing movie in the MCU history and the first Marvel Studios movie not to break the $100 million mark in the domestic box office.
