- Jean Riveyre was born on September 29, 1904 in Paris, Île-de-France, France. He was an actor, known for Diary of a Country Priest (1951), Edward and Caroline (1951) and Adolphe, ou l'âge tendre (1968). He died in April 1968.
- A seasoned stage actor, Jean Riveyre never achieved star status. He was a member of the Compagnie Pitoëff for several years. His only major film role was as the Count in Robert Bresson's famous "Journal d'un curé de Campagne" in 1950.
