Back in 2020, the second season of Netflix's "Dead to Me" tied up a few loose ends while creating a handful of new ones. Sure, we found out how Steve Wood (James Marsden) really died, and the stop sign Jen (Christina Applegate) has been fighting to get placed in Laguna Beach is finally up, but the impulsive decisions of Jen and Judy (Linda Cardellini) have opened up several boxes of chaos that everyone will have to deal with in the next installment - which is coming very soon!
On Nov. 2, Netflix released the full trailer for the third and final season of the Liz Feldman dramedy, and it teases way more laughs and, of course, even more drama surrounding Steve's death. Ready to risk their lives one last time in the name of friendship, Jen and Judy try to dodge the FBI and a murder investigation, all after yet another hit and run.

It’s been almost three years since Netflix’s twisted, soapy dramedy about grief, friendship, and concealing murder last aired — so where exactly did we leave off on “Dead to Me?” It’s easier to remember a show once it’s back on our screens, but Liz Feldman’s series is known for throwing viewers into the deep end.
Here’s a quick refresher on “Dead to Me” Seasons 1 and 2, ahead of Season 3’s November 17 premiere.
Jen and Judy
Jen (Christina Applegate) and Judy (Linda Cardellini) met at a grief support group in the show’s premiere episode. Jen was mourning her husband Ted, who died in a hit and run, and Judy because her fiancee is “gone” and, it turns out, she experienced multiple miscarriages. Grief, anger, and insomnia bond these two women instantly, and they’ve remained comrades and confidantes through some truly insane circumstances.
The Men
Jen’s marriage wasn’t perfect.

Settle in with a glass of wine, because we have a lot to go over. On Sept. 24, Netflix released a teaser for the third and final season of Dead to Me, hitting the streamer Nov. 17, and we're finally getting some answers after season two's cliffhanger finale. Before we get to the events of season three, however, the teaser reminds us of the dramatic way season two ended—which is helpful because it's been over two years since the second season dropped. Christina Applegate, who plays Jen Harding, is seen in the recap bluntly admitting to her actions, telling Detective Ana Perez (Diana Maria Riva), "There's something I have to confess. I killed...
