- Lauren Peterson is a classically trained actor, dancer and yogi. In NYC Lauren studied acting with Uta Hagen, Marthe Schlamme, Word Baker, Carol Rosenfeld and others at the Herbert Berghof (HB) Studios. They were accepted to the prestigious "School of American Ballet" under the tutelage of George Balanchine. In Los Angeles, Lauren studied yoga with Chuck Miller, being one of only two students he taught through the fourth series in the very demanding ashtanga system. They taught at the original Yoga Works on Montana Ave in Santa Monica. Lauren was a member of American Theatre Arts under Don Eitner, and Group Repertory Theatre performing in numerous productions. They also performed in "Piano Bar" by C Bernard Jackson, at the iconic Inner City Cultural Center. In 2016 Lauren played the role of Annie Clark, in a production of "Calendar Girls" at The Group Rep Theatre. - Lauren took a hiatus from acting, save for TV Commercials, when becoming a parent to Sashi, and became immersed the ashtanga yoga practice and teaching. Lauren became known internationally, and modeled for yoga books, magazines and calendars. They have traveled to six continents, for work and play, mostly with Sashi in tow. They taught at a Buddhist monastery in the mountains of Japan, on a boat full of surfers in Indonesia and practiced at Sting's villa in Tuscany. They own a small boutique yoga studio in the Los Feliz area, "The Yoga Salon" and now teach in person and on Zoom.

- Lauren started as a dancer, doing classical ballet and tap. They moved to LA in the 80's, and began working in theatre, film and TV, becoming a member of SAG in the early 1980s. For a time, they moved to Japan, and worked on the "Live from Osaka" 11 PM Show. Lauren was one of the 11 PM Show dancers, and landed on the cover of BOOP Magazine.
