Kate Middleton made her first royal engagement of 2019 when she stopped by the King Henry's Walk Community Garden in Islington, London. The duchess seemed totally in her element as she spent the morning with a group of cute kids doing some gardening, building birdhouses, and making pizza in the great outdoors. Kate was adorably chatty with the children, and while rolling dough and talking about toppings, an 8-year-old girl named Nadirah decided to get to the bottom of things and ask a hard-hitting question: "Has the queen ever had pizza?"
In a sweet Instagram video shared by People's Simon Perry, Kate looked nearly stumped and even paused for a moment before saying, "You know, that's such a good question. I don't know!" She added, "Maybe next time I see her, shall I ask?" I hadn't considered it before, but thanks to Nadirah, I am now dying to know! While we...

Meghan Markle says she's doing well, but also notes that she's "very pregnant" -- and she couldn't be more on the nose ... as her baby bump grows larger by the day. The Duchess of Sussex was visiting the Brinsworth House Tuesday in London -- a nursing home that houses British entertainers -- and she was speaking with former theatre actress Josephine Gordon who asked Meg how she was holding up heading into her 3rd trimester.

Wait, what?! Meghan Markle stepped out for her very first solo royal event on Tuesday, Sept. 25 but it wasn't her chic Givenchy dress or newly straightened hair that got royal fans talking. Instead, the Duchess of Sussex shut her own car door when she arrived at the Royal Academy of Art and, frankly, the internet freaked out about her unprecedented move. After getting out of the backseat of the navy blue vehicle that brought her to the event and greeting her host with a handshake, Meghan, 37, casually closed the open car door behind her before heading inside. The moment — perfectly captured in a video taken by People's chief foreign correspondent Simon Perry — quickly went viral online with many people praising Prince Harry's wife for acting so normal despite being a royal. Meghan Markle is getting the hang of being British royalty, but not without some minor etiquette flubs. On Tuesday night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Queen's Young Leaders Awards at Buckingham Palace where the newlyweds joined Queen Elizabeth II in celebrating future young leaders from across the globe. While Meghan is still learning the complicated rules of when and who she has to curtsy to, she's also still getting the hang of the infamous "duchess slant" that Kate Middleton has mastered so skillfully.
In the specific way to sit, Meghan is supposed to keep both knees and ankles close together and slanted to the side. If desired, she can cross her legs at her ankles, but she is not "supposed" to cross at the knees. During the event on Tuesday, Meghan accidentally crossed her legs like us regular folk when sitting down.

Kate Middleton — who bears more than a passing resemblance to Disney princess Belle — jetted into Norway on Thursday and came face-to-face with a real-life Elsa.
On the third day of their tour of Scandinavia, Kate and Prince William were welcomed to the country by Prince Haakon (he of the disappearing beard!) and Princess Mette-Marit — who bears a striking likeness to Disney’s Frozen heroine.
Although Frozen is set in the mythical land of Arendelle, Walt Disney World uses Norway as the setting for many of their Elsa and Anna encounters. And Oslo looked the part of a magical winter wonderland...

The second season of The Crown gives us a closer look at Prince Charles‘s early years —including those at Gordonstoun, the Scottish all-boy’s institution where he attended secondary school.
In The Crown, Charles is sent to Gordonstoun at the insistence of his father, Prince Philip. Queen Elizabeth and Charles’s great-uncle, Lord Mountbatten, both preferred he go to Eton College, which is just a short distance away from home at Windsor Castle. The Crown even shows Charles being fitted for his Eton clothes, preparing to start school. But Philip is determined that his son follow in his footsteps and attend his alma mater.

That knack was on full display during her first royal “walkabout” in the English city of Nottingham on Dec.

Kate Middleton has been keeping busy with royal engagements all year long, and on Tuesday, the duchess paid a special visit to the Foundling Museum in London. Kate, who is currently expecting her third child with Prince William, did some arts and crafts with the local nursery kids and learned about how the museum provides young people with new skills and an understanding of history. The Foundling Museum celebrates the history of the Foundling Hospital, which was established back in 1739 by philanthropist Thomas Coram to care for babies who were at risk of being abandoned. It is the UK's first children's charity and first public art gallery. Kate's philanthropic outing comes just a day after Prince Harry announced his engagement to actress Meghan Markle. During her visit, Kate also couldn't help but gush over her brother-in-law's exciting engagement news, telling reporters, "William and I are absolutely thrilled. It's such exciting news.

Don’t look for Princess Meghan anytime soon.
Now that Meghan Markle is engaged to Prince Harry, her royal title is one of the key issues to sort out. Unlike Kate Middleton, however, she will not be given a princess title — but the Duchess of Sussex could be just the right fit.
When Kate married Prince William, the couple received their royal titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. As the next in line to the throne behind Prince Charles, William is expected to become the Prince of Wales — and Kate, therefore, the Princess of Wales — when Charles ascends the throne.

Princess Charlotte’s future children are unlikely to have titles of their own, but her brother Prince George’s will.
“Her children will not have titles because the royal titles go down the male line,” Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty, tells People. Charlotte inherited her title because she was born as Prince William‘s daughter.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t exceptions to the rule. Queen Elizabeth has offered new titles other royal offspring in the past, including the children of her daughter, Princess Anne.
“The same applied to Princess Anne when she had her children,” Little continues.

The legacy of Eurythmics' embattled 1984 score, and the nasty public conflict that erupted over it at the time, has been well documented, so suffice it to say director Michael Radford famously hated it, calling it "crass rubbish" and even released a version of the film that excised it in favour of a more traditional score composed by Dominic Muldowney.
And Radford was wasn't alone. The film's producer, Simon Perry, was also publicly critical at the time, calling the band's New Wave sound "ruinous to the film's purposes and absurdly inappropriate".
