Sure they were both inebriated, but that kiss should still account for something right? If you missed last weeks' episode of Grey's Anatomy, Yang (Sandra Oh) and Mercy Wester Jackson (Jesse Williams) kissed on the sidelines of Callie's (Sara Ramirez) not-so-booming surprise party to girlfriend Arizona (Jessica Capshaw).
The context: Yang is pissed at Owen (Kevin McKidd) for not going ballistic on her for an unauthorized procedure she did earlier. Jackson, meanwhile, found the whole renegade surgeon thing hot. Could it be the start of something bigger? Williams tells TV Guide that yes, that's very possible.

We just reported that some discord might be in the offing for Grey's Anatomy lezzie couple Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). On the upcoming episode of the ABC medical dramedy, it's Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen's (Kevin McKidd) turn to reassess their relationship with 24's Kim Raver visiting the hospital as Iraqi War vet Teddy Altman (not to mention that kiss last episode).
Well, it isn't Grey's Anatomy when the couples' love stories are smooth sailing, and from the looks of things, Sloan (Eric Dane) and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) are next in line to get their perfect world disrupted.

Sorry, Cristina-Owen fans, but tonight's scandalous sweeps episode of Grey's Anatomy is going to be a little rough on you. As the Canadian promo for tonight's episode teases, Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) is going to be cheating on Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) with the "Hotness Monster" himself, Mercy Wester Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams). The hookup goes down against the backdrop of a huge pediatric case led by our girl-crush, Arizona Robbins (breakout star Jessica Capshaw). We've interrogated both Jessica and Jesse exclusively to find what goes down tonight, and it sounds like it's exactly the kind of major relationship trouble you "Crowen" fans have been fearing... Can any woman match up with the fiery and intense Cristina Yang? Well, how about toughie Audrey Raines from 24? Kim Raver is set to drop by the November 12 episode of Grey's Anatomy and it won't be good news to the happy couple Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Yang (Sandra Oh).
Raver's character Teddy Atlman is also an Iraqi War veteran, and she is hired by Owen as the new cardiothoracic surgeon, and right away, Cristina questions her abilities in the Or plus the nature of their relationships. By the way, this is also the same Grey's Anatomy episode where Izzie (Katherine Heigl) makes her return.

While her character on Grey's Anatomy seems to have been suffering a career crisis of sorts, the actress who plays feisty and stoic Cristina Yang is achieving a milestone in her very own. Canadian-Korean Sandra Oh recently returned to alma mater National Theater Council last week to accept the prestigious Gascon-Thomas award 16 years after she graduated and set off to try professional acting.
Yet asked how she felt about being an inspiration to aspiring actors, Oh paused and said she just doesn't think about it that way.

With their evil/negative portrayal on Grey's Anatomy (for starters, the title of the episode they debuted was "Invasion"), I'm sure the orange scrubs-donning Mercy West people don't have a lot of fans. Yes, even Sarah Drew's self-proclaimed future of medicine April has gotten a lack of flak lately for slugging it off with Lexie (Chyler Leigh), in an episode when Mark (Eric Dane) was a no-show.
As for the others, Charles and Reed and the most annoying one of all - the ninja-channeling skinhead who was paired with Yang (Sandra Oh) - I'm sure the Grey's Anatomy fans hate them all with a passion. They were portrayed as invaders who are out to steal jobs from the good men and women of Seattle Grace ("They took our jobs!"). With poor Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) being the first of the residents to be fired, I'm sure the fires of »

Someone's in truh-buhl! This week on Seattle Grace, the emergency room staff kills a lady, and hospital admins are on the warpath. One of the castmembers is definitely getting the ax in punishment, but who? Is one of the new kids getting cut, or could Callie (Sara Ramirez), Lexie (Chyler Leigh), Cristina (Sandra Oh) or Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) really be in danger of losing their jobs? Check out the other three sneak peeks below and try to decide for yourself who's done at Seattle Grace... »

The Seattle Grace gang is about to be invaded by the attendings and residents of Mercy West. The merger is continuing and all of the Seattle Grace doctors and nurses are on edge trying to showcase themselves in the best possible light to make sure they are not the next one to be fired. After the Chief sent out his mass email firings, he is still being reclusive and hiding in his office. Meredith has become the patient, Izzie is back to work, and Callie has returned. The merger is not a welcomed change; in fact it is likened to aliens landing and invading the “home planet.” How will the “new” doctors fit in? In this episode, we find Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) lying in her hospital bed after giving a piece of her liver to her estranged father. All of her fellow residents are there and she gives a pep »

The Mercy West invasion began Thursday on Grey's Anatomy and it's safe to say that the Seattle Gracers did not put out the welcome mat. The transfers didn't exactly bring a hostess gift either. The competition was fierce, the backstabbing brutal and the episode intense, satisfying and full of Omg moments. Space Invaders: The Mercy West residents set up shop and things immediately started off on the wrong foot. Izzie threw down when one refused to vacate George's locker and labeled her crazy. The old staff hid, already beaten down, in Meredith's hospital room, convinced they were going to be forced to become coroners. In a role reversal, Meredith was the positive go-getter using an Aliens analogy as a pep talk: "This is our ship. We own this hospital. We were born in this hospital. Go get surgeries before they take them." Matters of the Heart: Even star pupil Yang, »

In the final few minutes of Thursday night's episode of "Grey's Anatomy," Dr. Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) was fired from the staff of Seattle Grace Hospital. Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) took this drastic measure following Izzie making a potentially fatal medical error with a kidney patient. Izzie survived cancer, but could not survive the hospital's budget cuts. Izzie also left husband Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) via a note she placed in his locker. He solemnly shared the news with his bewildered colleagues Dr. Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) and Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). There has been much speculation since last season whether or not she would remain scrubbed in. The actress also has a burgeoning film career and recently adopted a daughter. A rep for ABC tells "The Insider" that Katherine has not left the show for good. Watch "Grey's Anatomy" on Thursday nights on ABC to »

We've got sneak peeks for this week's Grey's Anatomy. Seven sneak peeks, to be exact. It's like watching the whole episode! It looks like Hector Elizondo will be making an appearance. He's always terrific. You know what's not terrific, though? Katherine Heigl's wig.

As we promised in the spoiler chat a few weeks back, Grey's Anatomy is getting hairy, with not one but two animals featured on the show this week. Click in to join the monkey hunt in two additional sneak peeks below, plus see Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Lexie's (Chyler Leigh) dad, Thatcher Grey (Jeff Perry), admitted to the hospital with a health problem that Cristina (Sandra Oh) suspects might well be surgical... »

I admit it — Grey’s Anatomy has drawn me back in.
I do feel a little like I’m betraying Brooke Smith, but Callie and Arizona are too adorable to resist.
However, one thing about the show really, really bugs me: the relationship between Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd).
Granted, I am not a good judge of sexiness in a man, but I just can’t see this creepy guy with her. Every time I see them hold hands, I grimace. I had to leave the room when Cristina tried to seduce him with her black lace underwear. And trust me, I wanted to watch Sandra Oh in that sexy underwear.
Tuesday, EW.com’s Michael Ausiello revealed a casting tidbit that gives me hope that Owentina (yes, that’s really what fans call them) may be a bit shaky. Starting Nov. 12, Kim Raver will join Grey’s »

Welcome to your Wednesday morning television briefing. I'm leaving Vancouver today after an extremely action-packed day that saw me tour the sets of Syfy's Caprica, Stargate Universe, and Sanctuary. More on that to come in the next few days... On to the headlines now. Wowzers! Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello is reporting that talks have broken down between Helen Hunt's reps and producers for NBC midseason drama Parenthood. But the fantastic news is that Ausiello is saying that Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham has been offered the role of single mother Sarah Braverman (played by Maura Tierney in the original pilot episode) and that she "recently met with Parenthood boss Jason Katims... to discuss the plum part." (Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files) HBO has given an early series renewal to freshman comedy Bored to Death, handing the Jason Schwartzman-led series a second season order following its third episode, which landed »

This week Izzie debuts a Kate Gosselin-esque hairdo, and Meridith's pappy makes an unexpected visit. Hot stuff. Here are three sneek peeks.
Thatcher Grey Returns To Seattle Grace With A Medical Emergency, And Only Meredith Can Save Him, On ABC's "Grey's Anatomy"
Guest Starring Jeff Perry as Thatcher Grey.
"Tainted Obligation" – When Meredith and Lexie's father, Thatcher, returns to the hospital with a failed liver, it's up to Meredith to save his life. Meanwhile, Izzie empathizes with a patient riddled with tumors, as Mark, annoyed with Cristina's competitive zeal, tricks her into assisting on an unusual surgery, on "Grey's Anatomy," Thursday, October 8 (9:00-10:01 p.m., Et) on the ABC Television Network

Mer (Ellen Pompeo) talks about paranoia on the start of Grey's Anatomy, and Cristina (Sandra Oh) has a brilliant eureka moment about peds being the only field where she'll have absolute tyrannical control over the body. Actually, it's just her way to make sure she survives the cut due to the upcoming merger. Fortunately or otherwise, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) bursts her bubble and tells her that she doesn't love kids.
It's 4 am but all the residents are up and about. Probably jittery about the merger, all of them are trying to put their best foot forward. It's absolute pandemonium.
